Flashback
Next morning Arjun took a cab and reached airport to catch 6:00am flight. It took almost 5 and half hours. He slept throughout the journey no sleep last night.
Around 9:30am Neha called Arjun but his phone was switched off. He didn't setup the voicemail. After calling several times and getting no response she rushed to Karthik's apartment to check on Arjun. She was so tensed. She reached the apartment and ringed the bell. When there was no response she opened the door and went inside. Arjun was not there.
She panicked. Her mind went crazy with all the wild thoughts. "Is he still angry with me? Thats why went to India without informing me. Did he meet with accident? What's wrong? Why is his phone switched off"
With all these thoughts she called Karthik crying.
"Karthik,Arjun is missing. His phone is switched off . Did he leave to India? I'm scared Karthik? What if something happened to him? How can I live without him? "Neha was sobbing uncontrollably.
Karthik was shocked beyond belief hearing Neha. It took sometime to process the words since her words were muffled because of her sobbing and also the concern and love she has for Arjun was too surprising for him. It didn't make any sense to him.
Slowly he came out of shock and said "calm down Neha. Arjun is fine. He boarded flight to California at 6 .That's why his phone is switched off
Neha was relieved that Arjun is fine and didn't go back to India but she was hurt that he went to California without informing her.
"Sorry to bother you Karthik. I came to your apartment to check when his phone was switched off. I didn't know he is coming there. He didn't inform me "she said accusingly
"I will talk to you later. Bye" she said and disconnected the call
"What is going on? Are they in love? They seem to be known each other for long and are in love. Arjun never came to US and as far as I know Neha never went to India. How can anyone fall for each other this deeply in 1 single day? Is it even possible. I know both Neha and Arjun, they don't easily fall in love. These 2 are making me crazy. Neha is not in a position to talk now, she is very upset. Arjun will be here in 2 hours. I shall ask him about their relation but 2 hours seems to be too long . God ! don't let me go insane " Karthik thought to himself
