Chapter 24

Arjun's POV

" Sweety said she got married 3 months back . How did this happen Arjun? You both fight all the time . Did you not know who she is when you fell in love with her ? Did you dump her after knowing who she is ? But Siri said she is in love with a guy from 6 years .  How Arjun ? I don't understand . Tell me everything before I go crazy " Ravi asked hysterically 

" I truly love her Ravi . I'm the  guy from 6 years . I fell in love with Sweety 6 years back  " I said 

" How is that possible Arjun ? " he asked 

" Do you know why mom cut all the ties with Sweety and her dad " I asked 

He nodded no and said " I tried hard to find and convince mom to change her mind but she refused to  talk anything about them or took promise from me not to call Sweety . Do you know why ?" 

I nodded yes .

" Why " Ravi asked 

" 6 years back mom and dad went to North India tour and got stuck there because of floods , remember " he nodded yes  " Sweety came here that time . I was there at home that time " 

" What ? Why didn't any of us know that " he asked 

I started to tell  how I helped Sweety and started to like her after realizing my stupidity for my hate towards her . " She lied to her mom that she informed our mom about her trip to surprise us . Suddenly her mom's friend and her son came to take her away with them . Anna aunty  ordered Sweety to go with them .He misbehaved with Sweety . I would have killed him if he stayed any longer . She was scared that her mom would never send her again if she find about her lie and she didn't want to go with them . Our parents were not there to help her . I sent her away because  that's the only way I found to save Sweety from that pervert and his disgusting mom without creating problem with her mom . " 

I took a deep breath and continued " I thought everything will be fine because Sweety's mom wouldn't talk to our mom and Sweety would come back next year . I don't exactly know what happened but it seems like aunt insulted mom for leaving  Sweety alone and go on vacation . They exchanged words and Sweety said she informed our mom about her trip . Mom was hurt that Sweety lied  "

" Why didn't you tell me " ? Ravi asked

" I guessed Sweety's mom is somehow responsible but didn't know exact reason till last month . I overheard mom talking to dad about what happened  " I said

" Why didn't you tell me about your love when I asked you " he questioned

" I didn't know Sweety had feelings for me when you asked  . All her life I troubled and was nice to her for 3 days . I didn't call her for 6 years though she asked me to call and personally saved her no. in my phone . Actually I lost my phone & couldn't get her no. from mom after all this mess . I thought Sweety would be angry and there is no way she  would reciprocate my feelings . When you said mom is sick and want to see my marriage , I said ok for arranged marriage " I said 

" How did you meet and marry Sweety then ? he asked 

Arjun started to tell his love story
