Dharani's ( Ravi and Arjun's mom ) POV
I might be dreaming that my Arjun married Sweety and she is pregnant now . How can I believe that ? She is unconscious and Ram asked us to wait outside . Megha , Siri and her mom sat in the living room in silence .
How can I face Megha and her family ? Arjun's engagement is in 3 days with Siri . It would be devastating for them . Every girl would have so many dreams about her marriage . Now all of Siri's dreams are crushed . How do I fix things ?
" Dharani , I know what you are thinking . Don't feel bad for Siri and us . I agree it would have been better if we knew everything before . Siri likes Arjun because he is Megha's brother-in-law and agreed to marry him to stay with her sister forever . It would be a lie if I say she isn't disappointed with the way things turned out . It will take sometime to forget everything and become normal " Latha ( Siri's mom) said
" But right now we should focus on Neha . That child is so lonely and is weak . She neglected her health because of heart break . She is carrying twins and needs proper care and love . She didn't say anything even after seeing Arjun and decided to leave immediately so that Siri can get married to Arjun . Even though she is pregnant , she is ready to give up Arjun for Siri and your family's happiness " Latha said emotionally
" Twins " I asked surprised
" Double congratulations aunty . " Please don't think about me . Neha is important now " Siri said " Siri said
I have never felt this happy before . Being mother is joy but becoming grandmother is ecstasy .
Arjun and Ravi came downstairs smiling .
" Mom I'm going out , will be back soon " Arjun said
" Why " I asked and Arjun looked down blushing
" His pregnant wife craves for ice cream and he is going out to get " Ravi teased Arjun
" Bye mom " saying that Arjun almost ran
" Is Sweety ok ? Siri said she cried talking to her mom and then fainted " I asked
" Aunt fixed Sweety's engagement in 10 days " he said
" What " I was shocked
I'm responsible for all this . I shouldn't have overreacted to Anna's ( Sweety's mom ) words and cut my relation with my brother . I know Anna always want to separate my brother from me . She took the chance when Sweety lied about her trip . I know Sweety loves us and just wanted to surprise . But hearing Anna's insults , I lost my temper . I called my brother for keeping quiet when Anna was insulting me , mocked for being puppet in his wife's hand and went to the extent of comparing Sweet with her mom and said she succeeded in doing what her mother couldn't . Sweety called me several times but I was stone hearted , not taking her calls and punishing her for small lie .
" Mom , please don't cry . We will do something " Ravi said
Arjun came with ice cream and gave it to Ravi . He was sad that he couldn't feed Sweety with his hands . Ravi was about to go to Sweety's room .
" Ravi , I will go and feed my daught-in-law " I said taking ice cream from his hands
" But mom ..." he started .
" I know that we have to tell Sweety slowly that we know about her without giving so much stress . I know how to handle her " saying that I went to her room
