We walked for days. Everything looked the same, just a bunch of sand and old crumbling cement buildings. Until we came to an old city with some buildings still standing and cars with smashed windows lined the roads.
"Can you hear that?" I say looking around. Everyone goes very still trying to hear and make sense of what it is. A look of fear appears on Thomas's face and his eyes widen. "Everybody hide!" He yells just in time because as we all duck under a fallen slab of cement that's being held up by a car, two WCKD helicopters and a large WCKD drone fly over the top of us.
"*Sigh*Well that was close" I say emerging from under the slab once they had flown off. "At least we know to be more careful now and that their looking for us" Newt says. Thomas emerges from under the slab to "Alright we-". "We know" I say looking at him and then to Minho. "We have to keep moving"Minho and I say in unison. The group laughs and we start walking again.
