Hades started to make his way towards the gigantic ebony double doors, adamant not to address Persephone. "Aidoneus," she called sweetly, but he took no notice of her. "Aidoneus, please," she tried again, his name rolled off of her tongue so sweetly.

My sweet heavenly wife, steeling himself to stop the tremors in his knees. Hades let out an exaggerated sigh, and stopped in his tracks. Without glancing at her, he said, "Thank you for what you did for Psykhe." He continued to make his way towards the doors. Persephone watched the back of him, desperate to get his attention.

"Who is she?" she asked, but Hades didn't reply. "Please," she pressed, her tone was between hope and anguish.

"She's Psykhe," Hades' cold voice answered nonchalantly, almost sneering, as though as Persephone's question was the most ridiculous question.
