Extra Chapter: Plane Crash

Tris' POV

I blink, but all I get to catch is a vague glimpse of fire and people running or with their limps twisted in an odd way. I fully open my eyes and look around me, what I saw before now is ten times worse. I try to breathe only to find that I can only take shallow gasps. I reach out my hand to touch my chest and find it wet and sticky, I look down and see a metal bar piercing where my lung should be. I close my eyes and count to ten, open them and with a new resolution I decide that I will survive.

How did I get to this place? why was I on this plane?

I will have to answer that another time, if I indeed survive.

I unbuckle the seatbelt and throw myself to the ground, ignoring the pain coming from every part of my body. I try to look around but my neck hurts too much.

I slowly begin to crawl, trying not to disturb the metal bar, maybe it is stopping me from bleeding to dead. I follow the glowing lines of the hallway, carefully not to step on other passanger's bodies, everytime I do, I shake them to see if they are alive or not too injuried. I am almost at the exit, I can see it now even though the smoke is making it almost impossible. I get there and I am about to get out when I feel someone's hand tugging the back of my shirt. I turn a little bit to left just to see a little girl, tears falling from her eyes, she notices that she has my attention and points at her lap where her seatbelt remains buckled. I unbuckled it and together we get out.

I notice that the plane is starting to consume and that we won't be able to get away fast enough, well, not me in the state that I am.

-Run - I tell her. She looks at me with her big eyes, as if she did not understand. - Find help. - I find that can barely talk.

- I won't leave you!! - She says with such determination that I am left dumbfoded for a second. - You need help, madame!

For some reason this left me speechless so I say the first thing that comes to my mind.- My name is Tris.

We start crawling, she is walking, tugging me by my hand, trying to make me move faster.

- My name is Arabella, Ari, for you - She says in her little cute voice.

I feel my eyelids getting heavier, and I find it harder to breathe, I start coughing. My head hurtps so much. Where am I? How did I get here and who is this girl?

Arabella, whispers a voice inside my help that is slowly fading away, like my memories.

- Go find help - I say, Ari starts shaking her head. - I'll be fine, I promise!.

She looks at me for a moment then lets go of my hand and takes off in the east direction.

If Caleb had been on the plane with me he would be terrified right now.

Where is he anyway?

And with that I black out.

Finally! I wrote it! Sorry guys for the delay but I have been really busy with school and all, I had to switch classrooms so getting used to the new schedule was not easy.
