In condo number 345, anyone passing the door could hear the pain filled screams of a baby girl. Little Anovah Carter was being burned with boiling water for being "too dark," as said by her parents. The water was being poured on the little girl's arms, legs, stomach, and her back; it was truly a horrible sight.

For as long as she's been born, just barely two years, Anovah has never had it easy. She's never felt the love that most children her age is supposed to feel; she's never been held or even rocked to sleep.

Bianca and Clarence Carter were both ashamed of Anovah from the moment she was born. While most babies came out of the womb lighter, baby Anovah was just a tad bit darker. That led to neither for her parents wanting to hold her that day, barely wanting to take her home the two days after her birth.

For the first four months of her little life, Anovah was scrubbed viciously during her bath times. She was bathed in a little bit of bleach every two nights, with her parents hoping it'll make her skin lighter; that wasn't the case.

With it going completely unnoticed, Anovah's father was really happy when his daughter was born. Being that his wife, however, was very much so against anyone darker than herself, he couldn't bring himself to show his daughter any love in public OR private.

Across town, Farah and Treyton Williams just left their check up after suffering yet another painful miscarriage. This one would make their seventh in all the 3 years they've been married.

Farah and Treyton have been trying for a baby ever since the night of their honeymoon. When it was deemed a success, Farah sadly miscarried after just 4 weeks of being pregnant. That was the first time either of them had suffered any type of heartbreak.

After that unfortunate day, they had both been skeptical about trying ever again, not wanting to go through the same pain. However, without paying any attention, Farah had fallen pregnant just three months after her first miscarriage. During her check up, she was told that she was having twins. Of course they both thought they were having a second baby as well as some sort of miracle baby in place of their first. They were ecstatic! However, all happiness went out the window when Farah miscarried their twins at 2 weeks.

Following their second miscarriage, Farah and Treyton just decided to try again and again, hoping to conceive. They had no luck, though, and eventually gave up and just decided it wasn't worth the constant heartbreak anymore.

Farah, Treyton, and Anovah doesn't know each other at all. They're all destined to be happy one of these days, whether that be by accident, or rather fate. They will all meet soon, under terrible circumstances, nonetheless it's bound to happen. They are in a way meant for one another. They're destined to be a FAMILY.
