Few Days Later...

Please excuse any mistakes❤️

"Remember, ma'am, that you need to take it easy for the next few weeks. No strenuous activity nor are you allowed to eat anything outside of that diet. Being that we had to cut deeper this time, the stitches inside of your stomach need to be kept as clean as possible."

The doctor was explaining to Farah once again what she had to do to keep right. She wasn't paying anybody any attention being that she was still a little salty about the situation that took place when her husband was there. Trey, on the other hand, was listening very closely.

"And please try to drink as much water as you can each day. I don't recommend too many things with sugar in the-"

"Okay. I heard all of this from you and the nurses so many times. I'm grown and I think I can take care of myself."

Treyton's head snapped over to his wife quickly. He didn't know what exactly was up with her, but he had a feeling he was not trying to find out right now.

"Of course. My apologies. I was just wanting to make sure you were well aware is all."

"Well thank you. I want to leave now if that's okay."

The doctor just nodded her head and let them know she'd be back with Farah's release papers before she walked out of the room without uttering another word.

"You ain't have to be like that, Farah. Wassup wit' you?"

"Don't ask me no stupid ass questions, Trey. I don't have time for that shit right now."

"Well you need to let that attitude or whatever go before you get 'round my daughter. Deadass."

"Okay? Don't have her 'round me then, the fuck."

Just as Treyton went to respond a nurse came through the doors. She showed him where to sign as well as handed over the medications that Farah would need to take over the course of her healing process.

"Would you like to be wheeled out, ma'am?"

"Damn, you reckon I can walk? What the fu-"

"Yeah, ma'am, she wanna be wheeled out. Thank you."

Farah rolled her eyes. She was over everyone. She was still hurting, and that meant physically and mentally for her.

The nurse nodded and went outside of the door to grab the wheelchair. When she came back in and rolled it up to the bed, she help Farah successfully ease into it without bothering any of her stitches. While she made sure of nothing happening, Trey was grabbing all of Farah's things and following out of the room shortly behind them.

"Okay, Ms. Farah. You're all set. Please remember to take your infection pill before any of the other ones later on tonight. It'll help with some of the pain."

Farah only nodded. She was sick and tired of having the same things repeated to her, and obviously her attitude toward the situation was making it no better. Therefore, she opted out of talking all together.

The nurse and Trey helped her into the car and made sure she was comfortable. They suggested that she get in the backseat so that she could spread out, but Farah wasn't having it. She made sure she was put in the front.
