Please Excuse Any Mistakes!❤️

Farah and Treyton had done a lot of self reflection the past week. While they apologized to one another, the married couple couldn't help but to start to see the other as a problem; or at least that's what has been coursing through Trey's mind. He was just so sure that his wife was going to start to give up on their marriage, if she hasn't already, so he too had began to slowly back away from it.

Trey has just went to get Novah from his grandmother's house. She had been staying there the last couple of days because all he and Farah ever did was argue and fuss when in the same space. Deep down they both understood the frustrations the other had about everything that continues to go on, however, neither of them were going to state the obvious first.

"What you and ma do today, lil' girl?"

"We saw boys, daddy. Cute boys."

Novah didn't catch the quick, hard mug Trey has planted on his face directed towards her. One thing he disliked about his daughter was her new infatuation with the male species; he thought the day would never come.

"What you mean, Peach? What boys you been seeing?"

"Cute boys at the park, da. Duh."

Novah rolled her eyes at her daddy as if that was the most obvious thing ever. After all that's where she saw all "her" cute boys at. He knew this already.

"That's why yo' lil ass not going back to that park. How 'bout that?"

"Child bye."

Trey couldn't help but to burst into laughter. Novah had been watching a few new reality shows with her mother and she'd been using the newfound lingo everywhere she went nowadays. The child was truly a character.

"That man came, da. Him was big and scary, too."

"What man, mamas?"

This caught Trey's attention and all playfulness left him. While trying to keep up with his wife and daughter, he was also trying to keep up with Cicely and her wellbeing. Morris had really left her shaken up and a little scarred leading to Trey getting cameras installed around her home so that she could feel at least a little safe; even though the elder doesn't spend too many nights there right now.

Trey was trying to find Morris for the longest but it was as if the man knew he was being damn near hunted. He went into hiding just that fast and no one could find any traces of him at the moment. Trey wouldn't stop looking tho.

"I don't know. But granny was scared. I bite him though, da. Mhm. And him just walked away."

As much as he tried to be serious because he knew his daughter was dead serious herself, Trey couldn't help but to bite his tongue and try to hold in the laugh that so desperately wanted to escape. All of that ceased, however, when he realized that Cicely didn't once mention anything like that. She seemed normal when he picked Novah up from her home.

"You did? You can't go around biting people, girl. Me and yo' momma already told you that. But what did granny say to the man?"
