They're now 23
I rolled over and cuddled my wife Nikki, burying my face into her neck, "Billie" she said, "mhm" i replied. "Can you check on lily" she asked. "Yeah" I said, crawling out of bed. I walked over to our 7 year old daughter's room, I opened the door quietly, she was already awake "Mommy!" She yelled, running up to me, she jumped in my arms and I picked her up, holding her. "good morning princess" I said, smiling. She grabbed a strand of my hair, playing with it. "Morning mommy, I hungry" she said. "Haha okay" I carried her downstairs, I saw Nikki making some cereal for Lily. I put her at the table and put her bib on, she wasn't too messy of an eater though. "Morning mama!" Lily said, "good morning angel" Nikki said, smiling and putting the bowl in front of her, she returned to the counter, I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her waist from being, placing my head on her shoulder. "Morning my love" I said, she blushed "morning baby" she said. I walked away back upstairs. Life was good, I had the family of my dreams, the woman I loved most, and an amazing daughter, what else could I ask for?
