3rd POV
Everyone was in the girl's room but Jay since he was out with the coach, everyone looked up from what they were doing and saw Jay wearing the tourney uniform. Jay started showing it off. Carlos whistles as the girls continued what they were doing. The two boys chuckled together. Jay leaned into Mal's bed frame, "Did your plan work with Jane?" He asked her "Are you going over to see the wand?"
"Do you think that I would be going through every single spell in this book if I hadn't completely struck out?" She snapped at him making Evie look up from her notebook "Someone's in a bad mood" Carlos commented "My mom's counting on me! I can't let her down!" Said Mal and flick Carlos head
Jay turned around "We can do this..." Everyone glanced up at him "If we stick together"
"And we won't go back until we do" Mal added, "Because we're rotten.." She began "To the core" Everyone else finishes together
"Oh, yeah. I found out that Fairy godmother blesses Ben with the wand at coronation and we all get to go" Said Evie like it was nothing "I have nothing to wear, of course," She rolled her eyes and scoffs, Mal looked at her with her mouth open as someone knocks on the door "What?" Evie asks "Hold that thought," Mal told her and went towards the door, she opened the door revealing Ben on the other side
Ben smiled, "Hey, Mal. I didn't see you guys today. I was just wondering if you had any questions or anything that you needed"
"Not that I know of" Mal look back at her friends, they all shake their head "Okay. All right. Well, if you need anything, just, uh-"
"Oh wait" Mal cut him off "Um is it true that we all get to go to your coronation?" She asks doing a circular motion with her finger signifying to all her friends "Yeah, the whole school goes" Ben answers "Wow" Mal smiles "That is beyond exciting" Ben smiled brightly at her "Do you think that it's a possibility that the four of us could stand in the front row next to the fairy godmother, just so we could soak up all that goodness?" Mal asked another question
"I wish you could," Ben told her "Upfront it's just me, Beatrice, her date, my folks, and my girlfriend"
An idea pops up in Mal's head " and your girlfriend?" She asks "Yeah. I'm sorry" Ben apologies still smiling "Okay thanks, bye"
"Oh, but, no, There's plenty of-" Mal cuts him off by shutting the door on his face, Mal turns to her friends, "I think it's time that Bennyboo got himself a new girlfriend," Mal tells her friends the plan "And I need love spell" Mal claps her hand telling one of them to give her the spellbook. Carlos looked behind him and grabbed the book throwing it to Mal. She catches it and let out a small giggle

"All right. It says that we still need one tear, and I never cry" Mal read from the spellbook as she stirs the batter "Let's just chop up some onions" Carlos suggests grabbing an onion "No" Mal said raising her hand up and place it back down at the bowl of the batter "It says that we need one year of human sadness. And thus love potion gets the best reviews so we have to follow it exactly" Mal nodded along with Evie "A tear's a tear" Jay stated "That's not true, Jay" Evie told him
"They both have antibodies and enzymes, but an emotional tear had more protein-based hormones than a reflex tear" Evie explained as she grabbed the bag of flour "Listen to you" Mal said proudly, Jay shakes his head "Yeah, I knew that"
"Did not" Carlos said slapping him in the arm "Yeah I did"
The door opens showing Lonnie "There you are, Mal! I was looking for you" She said walking towards Mal making Mal cover the spellbook with a napkin rapidly "You know, all the girls want you to do their hair!"
Mal and Evie tried to keep it cool as Lonnie looked down at the bowl of batter "Midnight snack, huh? Whatcha guys making?" Lonnie asks leaning over "Nothing special. Just cookies" Mal said as Lonnie dipped her finger in the batter making everyone scream at her a 'No' and held out their hands making Lonnie confused "What? I'm not gonna double-dip" She explained herself "Feel anything?" Evie asks "Yeah, like maybe it might be missing something?" Mal ask
Jay walked over and lean on the metal pole "Hey there" Jay said flirting, Lonnie just raised her eyebrows at him and made her lips into a line "It could use some chips" Lonnie said looking at Mal and went to the fridge "Chips?" Jay asks confused as the two girls sighed in relief "And those are?" Mal asks starring the batter again "Chocolate chips" Lonnie stated the obvious
"Just the most important food group," She said as she went back to the counter with a small bowl of chocolate chips. She grabs a hand full and stops "Wait, didn't your moms ever make you guys, like, chocolate chip cookies?"
Mal and Evie looks down at the bowl as Lonnie pours some chocolate chips in the batter. They both look up at Lonnie "Like, when you're feeling sad, and they're fresh from the oven with a big old glass of milk and she just makes you laugh and puts everything into perspective and-" Lonnie stops talking as she took a glance at everyone sad-looking faces "Why are you all looking at me like that?" She asks, Mal shakes her head "It's just different where we're from" Mal explains
Lonnie opens her mouth to speak as she looks around "Yeah, I know. I just, you know, I thought... Even villains love their kids" they all just look down in sadness "Oh" Lonnie exclaims as she realizes, she looks back at the two boys and back to the girls. A tear slips out of her eyes "How awful" She added and hold Mal's hands
Mal looks at their hands and looks up to her face and notices the tear making her back on track. She gasps as she swipes the tear and flicks it to the bowl of batter "Yeah, well, big bummer but we have to get these into the oven, so thank you so much for coming by" Mal began pushing Lonnie towards the door as Evie handled the batter "Really, really have a good night"
"Okay, okay"
"I'll see you tomorrow. Evil dreams" Mal says as Lonnie walked out the door "Goodnight"
Mal looks back at her friends and clapped her hands "Okay, boys, cookie sheet" She ordered right away "Evie, oven"
"Yes, ma'am" Evie said as she brought the batter to where the cookie sheet and oven is
