"Lonnie" I walked in the amphitheater and saw the Chinese girl standing there with a fencing sword on her hand while she was on her phone "Are you ready for later?" I gave her a smile while scrunching my nose "Quite nervous actually" Lonnie answered putting her phone away, I walked towards her and placed my hand on her shoulders "You'll be fine" I assured, I went to grab another fencing sword and went back to my spot

"You want to practice before the team comes in for their practice?" I asked here doing some tricks with the sword "Of course" Lonnie smirked flipping her sword, I tilt my head and smiled

I got into position as the same with Lonnie, the girl launch at me first, I quickly blocked her and pushed her to the side, I quickly ran to the other side as Lonnie chased me, I turned around, starting to swing at the girl who's challenging me "You got this girl" I stated as Lonnie swing but I moved back, I gave her a smirk as she just rolls her eyes.

I saw her aiming for my foot, so I jumped up and stomped on the sword, I quickly tapped on Lonnie, signifying that I won, while letting out a roar of cheers Lonnie just smiles while throwing her head back "I won!" I cheered and I fist bump the air "Finally" I giggled

"You just got lucky" The Chinese girl beckons, I squinted my eyes and nodded my head "Sure. Sure" I let out laugh. I shut my laugh short as I heard some noises outside of the Amphitheater, I guess Lonnie heard too cause we both turned our heads to each other and began running away leaving the fencing swords wherever we left them. Lonnie and I pushed through the other way out of the room and started to laugh

"I'll be cheering for you on the balcony" I apprised Lonnie before walking away to my dorm. I looked around for a spare of clothes to change too. I saw the cheerleader uniform on my desk, I grabbed into my hands and admired it. I joined the cheerleading squad right after Audrey left to hang out with the fairies her mother grew up with, Flora, Merryweather and Fauna. I only joined cause Jane was the captain until Audrey comes back. It's actually quite fun but being on the team where my crush, crush is in doesn't work well but it's whatever

I went back to reality and quickly changed into the uniform. I walked out of my dorm and went back to the Amphitheater to see some other cheerleaders on the balcony as the boys talking to each other before practice started. I looked to the side and saw Lonnie eyes glaring at the boys planning her great entrance. She probably felt someone staring as she looked around, her eyes fell into mines. I sent her a wink before climbing up the stairs to the balcony of the room. Right as I was on top my eyes went straight to Carlos who was talking to Jay

I look over to Jane and saw her staring at the same direction as I am as her friends talk to each other. I let out a sigh and my eyesight went back to the white haired boy. I saw him quickly glancing at Jane then at me before going back to Jay. I saw him laugh at something the long haired boy said making me smile at him. I love his laughter, it's honestly the cutest thing about him. Other than his freckles, smile, eyes, hair, hands, style...You know what I mean!

"All right, boys, let's line it up" Jay spoke up patting Carlos in the back "Carlos, you're with me, let's go" I watched as they got into positions, I got into a more comfortable stance and leaned into the railing "Rassembler!" They put their swords in front of them to their partners "Salute!" Now the swords are in front of their faces "Lower the point!" They pointed the sword ends to the ground "Masks down" They all did what Jay told them "En garde" they took a pause then started fighting each other catching other people who weren't paying attention, attentions

All you can hear in the room is either chatting beside your ears or grunting from the fighting boys below me. My eyes stuck onto Carlos and Jay, I see Jay grabbing the white haired boy arm and spin him around, Carlos quickly ran to the center, middle of the boxes, Jay slides saying something I didn't hear as the their swords hit each other

Carlos jump above Jay, his feet on two separate blue and yellow boxes and did a front flip, he did a trick with his sword as he turned where Jay was. Carlos got out as I saw familiar figure jumps in started fighting Jay. I let out a smirk knowing immediately who it was

Everyone looked at the two fighting alone in the center, shocked. Either the others was taking off their mask to get a better look or shocked that someone was competing Jay and lowkey beating him

"Get him, Jay" I heard Carlos state as Jay took of his mask to get a better look of his opponent, the voice of Carlos caught Jane attention as she started paying attention to the fight, Lonnie did a turn, almost kicking Jay in the face, I remember I did last time making me sure it was definitely Lonnie. The boys ooh'ed at the skill as the two kept on the fight

Jay was going for Lonnie leg but she moved quickly and did a one-handed cartwheel to move away from Jay. Jay quickly swings but Lonnie blocked him with her sword. They stayed put but Jay pushed the girl away. The two looked at each for a little before fighting again. I smiled brightly and fixed my posture as Lonnie took Jay sword off his hands and did a pose with both swords in her hands

She swings Jay sword towards the boy but he swiftly moved out the way, Lonnie moved the sword to the other side but yet again Jay moved swiftly. Lonnie did a trick making Jay sword into the front, Jay kicked the sword out of the girl's hand catching it mid-air. Jay looked at Lonnie shocked as he put the sword behind him

Lonnie reveals herself by taking off the mask making everyone in the room shocked "It's Lonnie. Whoo!" I heard Jane said and started clapping, I started clapping for the girl as well. Lonnie looked up the balcony looking for me, her eyes landing at the person she wanted to see, me. I quickly sent her wink telling her she did a amazing job before pointing at Jay, who smirked at the girl impressed by her skills, Lonnie looks at him "Not bad" Jay states still smiling at the girl "You should put me on the team" Lonnie suggest making me smile a little wider for her bluntness

Jay looked fond of the idea until Chard Charming here, ruined it and jumped in the conversation "Hey," He started "What? No, no, no" he disagrees making me roll my eyes at the boy "We'll be the laughing stock of the league and what's gonna happen next? We'll have girls playing tourney. Come on, guys"

"So?" Jay asked not seeing the problem, Chad snaps his head towards the brown haired boy, he looked back at Lonnie then back at Jay "So? I- So have you not read the rulebook?" Chad says as he was about to bring out the rule book in his behind pocket, I took this chance to go down the stairs to the first floor to watch the scene Chad has caused a little better "Section 2, Paragraph 3, 11-4" He started as I made it down, he nodded as he found his statement

"'A team will be comprised of a captain and eight men' Mmm?" Chad read off the rule book as he finished reading showing it off to the rest of the room, including shoving it into Lonnie's face

I look up as Chad showed it to the people up the balcony and saw Jane roll her eyes to her friends beside her "Okay, yeah but you're down a man" Lonnie tried to reason "You know, since Ben had to leave to do all that king stuff"

"Exactly. We're down a man"
