"Hoy!"

I almost spill the frappe to myself! Gosh! Ano ba naman 'tong si Zain, nangugulat! Kung 'di ko lang talaga siya kaibigan baka nakatanggap na siya ng sapak sa 'kin.

"Really? Dapat mo pa 'kong gulatin ha?" I gave her a sharp gaze.

"Nah, just for fun." she giggled while pulling the sit opposite to mine.

We were here in a coffee shop near my office. Zain, my bestfriend, texted me earlier that she wanna meet me and so we did. It's already 7:00 p.m. at kakatapos lang ng trabaho ko. For sure kanina pa natapos ang classes ni Zain kaya hyper na naman siya. By the way, she's a professor.

Samantalang ako, heto, haggard na haggard at kulang na lang magmukha akong panda sa laki at itim ng eyebags ko.

"So, what are we gonna talk about, huh?" I asked as I sip from my frappe.

"Let me order first, baka bigla kang mag-walk-out sa sasabihin ko. Waiter!"

Aba, ayaw pa sabihin. Ano kaya 'yon at may nalalaman pa siyang mag-wo-walk-out daw ako.

Agad na dumating yung waiter na tinawag ni Zain. I think he's new since, this is the first time I saw him here tho, I'm often in this cafe.

"What's your order Ma'am?" the guy asked Zain.

"Uhm, just one Strawberry Frappe and also one of this Yema sponge cake."

"How about you, ma—"

When the guy shifted his eyes on me, I can clearly see his surprised look. Even his mouth was left open. Okay, I'm so familiar with this scene. Everyone is always fascinated with my eyes. Once they saw it, they will consecutively froze to their sits or to where ever location they are.

"I'm already good." I just said to him.

Hindi pa rin makapaniwala sa 'kin ung lalaki. Masyado yata siyang na-overwhelm sa nakita niya. Well, I'm one of a kind, or rather my family is one of a kind.

Pati si Zain nakatitig na rin sa 'kin. Problema nito?

"What?" siningkitan ko siya ng mata.

"You know, sometimes 'di pa rin ako makapaniwala na may kaibigan akong tulad mo."

"What do you mean by 'tulad ko'?"

"You know, tulad mong... may green eyes."

Yes, you read it right. I have jade-like eyes which reasoned out the reaction of the waiter earlier. Actually, my whole family has green eyes except to my Dad. Since I was young, this mystery have been left unanswered because, we don't have any foreign blood.

My Mom don't want us to consult any doctors regarding our condition. Well, it doesn't matter that much to me. I accept this eyes and I love it. People are sometimes even calling me a living anime not only because of my eyes but also because of my whole physical appearance. I just took that as a compliment. There's nothing wrong being an anime girl for me.
