"Ano ba 'yan Clard gusto pa naman sana namin sumama sa palasyo ni Lucas. Ano kayang itsura doon? Mas maganda kaya dito?"

My great girl bestfriend asked. Papunta ako roon ngayon sa Thoren Kingdom. Just right after Lucas called me the other day, UrsaMinor has attacked his place. He told me about it and also it was the talk in the whole palace—that Ursaminor will soon end the reign of the Montevilla family.

Nag-aayos ako ng aking sarili sa loob ng kuwarto ko. As usual, my friends were here watching me as I roam around until I'm satisfied of how I look.

Naka-upo si Zain sa kama ko samantalang si Kiefer naman ay nasa couch.

"Zain, hindi naman kami magtu-tour doon. They're gonna talk about some serious matter." sagot ko sa kan'ya saka naupo sa vanity table at sinuklay ang aking mahaba at straight na buhok.

"Okay, fine! Buti na lang maiiwan dito si Xanthal. Makikipag-chikahan na lang ako sa kanya." parang batang niyakap niya ang unan.

"I wish Nebula was here," sambit naman ni Kiefer.

"Oo nga. Simula nung party sa Ace palace hindi na bumalik dito 'yung aso na 'yon. Ang sarap niya rin sanang kakwentuhan. Sobrang daldal!"

"He's with his master now, or rather uncle." I said to Zain while looking at the mirror.

Speaking of uncle, Tito Cranstan is going to Lucas' palace as well—No, actually, all the royals were coming except to Xanthal. I don't know why she can't come but, probably, to protect her or they just don't want her to be involved with such this complicated issue. Pag-uusapan daw kasi nila ang tungkol sa nangyaring paglusob ng UrsaMinor sa Thoren palace.

Ako naman, dapat hindi rin talaga ako kasama. Ano nga bang maidudulot ko doon? I'm not even part of the royals now. Nakikitira lang ako pansamantala sa Eros hanggang hindi ko pa nakikita ang mga magulang ko. Pero nakiusap kasi si Lucas sa pinsan niya na isama ako papunta sa kanyang palasyo. Thus, I will share a ride with Xavier and his wife to go there. Wala naman akong choice dahil ni hindi man lang ako tinanong ni Lucas kung payag ba ako sa gusto niya.

Tumayo na 'ko mula sa harap ng vanity table at kinuha ang sling bag na nasa ibabaw ng aking kama. I don't really have something to put in here but I just felt like I need a bag like this whenever I'm going out. I put inside the phone from Tito Cranstan and the royal card that Xavier gave me before. Oo, nasa akin pa 'yon. Well, it might come handy sometime.

"Clardey, take care," Kiefer bade his farewell.

"Ingatan mo puso mo." Zain said, staring at me. I smiled at her.

"I'm fine. I'll go now."

I both kiss them on the cheeks before going out of my room. Doon daw muna sila dahil mas marami raw makikita sa kuwarto ko kaysa sa kuwarto nila. Ewan ko ba sa dalawang 'yon, trip na trip tambayan ang kuwarto ko.

As soon as I went out, I saw Sgt. Harvey and Celeste near my room. Nagpaalam ako sa kanila at sinabing sila na muna ang bahala sa mga kaibigan ko. They both nodded and said good bye to me.

Napalingon sa pintong katabi lang ng aking kuwarto nang magbukas ito. Xavier emerged from it who's still fixing the sleeves of his royal coat. Nag-angat siya ng tingin sa'kin nang madaanan niya ako.
