"Guys,"
I uttered as if I'm still not at my senses after I had a revelation with myself that Pherkad is at Eros Kingdom right now and is only less than one kilometer away from us.
Si Xavier ang unang-unang lumingon sa'kin. Kalmado lang ang expresyon niya ngunit mababatid mo ang pagkaseryoso dito. Tinitigan ko siya sa mga mata saka binaba ang aking tingin sa tablet. Alam kong gano'n din ang ginawa niya dahil bigla niyang kinuha ang gadget mula sa akin.
"What is it, Clardia?" Xanthal asked who's looking curiously at us from the back.
I turned my head and gaze at her too. I breathe heavily first and swallowed a lump on my throat upon speaking.
"Pherkad is here," I muttered.
Her brows knitted. "What... do you mean?"
Before I could answer her. Xavier spoke. "Greg, you know what to do." then, he extended the tablet to his cousin.
"Wow... So, they are really here at your Kingdom? At Eros Kingdom that is ruled by the cold and merciless Prince of Acelatoria? Wow... just wow. They're indeed brave." Greg commented as he reached for the gadget.
"We are not sure if their fortress really lies here." Xavier said.
"Yeah, right."
Nagpatuloy lang kami sa pagbyahe habang sinusundan ni Greg ang daan papunta sa pinupunto ng red tag sa device. But, as far as I remember, we're still on the same route going back to the palace.
Actually, I'm so tensed right now and I know I'm not the only one feeling like it. The person beside me keep staring nowhere as if he has a lot on his mind and the same goes with his cousins.
"Xavier," I called him and held his shoulder.
He looked back on me. "Why?"
"Don't do things abruptly, okay?" I stared at him with my sincere eyes. Sa totoo lang, kinakabahan ako sa maaaring gawin niya. Nag-aalala ako na baka bigla-bigla siyang kumilos at mapahamak. I want him to be careful.
"I will." he answered and showed me a small smile. It made me calmed a bit.
"Greg, are you sure you are going to the right direction? This is the exact same path to the palace." Lucas said as if he put into words what I thought a while ago.
"Yes. And we're getting near it." his brother answered.
So, it means... nadaanan namin kahapon 'yung lugar kung nasaan ngayon si Pherkad? Pero saan naman kaya 'yon?
I gaze at the front of the van where the transparent yet, tinted glass allows me to see what establishments or residences are along our way. Later on, I realized that we're approaching a tall, commercial building that is very familiar to me. Unlike that last time I saw it, where it has lights and people going in and out, now, it has none of those. Its entrance was closed and no vehicle was parked around it.
At this exact point of time, our van is parallel to the UMi Mall.
Our van stopped.
"We are here. The enemy is here." Greg uttered staring at the building with his grim expression.
Hindi ako nakapagsalita agad. Dito? Sa isang mall? Nandito si Pherkad? Pero bakit? I mean, public place ito at sarado pa. Saka anong sasadyain niya sa dito? Magci-cinema? Magsho-shopping? Kakain? Ang weird!
Wait, I remember. Dito nga pala nila ako na-kidnap. Dito rin ang store ni Aunt Leticia na miyembro din ng UrsaMinor. Hindi kaya...
"This is their fortress." Xavier said as if he have read what's on my mind.
