Hey guys, sorry it took so long to get back into putting these up for you! I meant to put this one up much sooner but, you know, I procrastinate too much and my life is a bit of a wreck rn.
I've tried to start up on Insta but it won't let me post anything for some reason. So... that sucks. Hopefully I'll figure it out one of these days. 😝
Anyway, today I show ya'll some sadness expressions I tried with some of my fave characters. I chose these characters for each of these expressions for good reason, so forgive me if they make you feel bad or anything like that.

First was Depression in the sadness category of my manga expression drawing book, and I figured I'd try Fubuki with it. With the constant hammering down from an older sibling, what's a little sister to do but feel down? Still, could be worse right?
Next was Loneliness, and what other character I know of thar knows that feeling more then Crona? Being alone with no one to turn to is a rough thing for anyone to go through, and Crona is unfortunately used to that feeling. Things for them have looked up since Maka came into the picture, but sometimes those feelings still creep in and it's just no fun.
"Thanks Bruce. For staying with me." For the next one, it was those expressions of Crying. Most times crying is a sign of sorrow, but I decided to draw the more happier variety. And who better for that than Ace? And before you ask, this particular character is from the Justice League Animated Series. No, I haven't watched that (spent all that time watching the Teen Titans one of course), but d**m it all if Ace didn't deserve a happy ending there. Still, at least the big bad bat put away his dark mood and stayed by her to the end there. *sniff*
And then finally, Sobbing. A worse version of crying where it feels like you can stop, everything feels screwed, and you either have a headache or are shaky as H*ll. Maybe all of the above. And I felt like drawing Giegue for this. In case you don't know, this is what Giegus from Earthbound originally looked like before, well, Earthbound happened. And after what he did caused a massive domino effect on Mother 3, who can blame him for seeing the damage he caused and shedding tears for what his adopted mom would feel about it?
Next up will be surprised expressions, so expect those soon! And wish me luck on the Insta situation. Hopefully I'll get started on that soon enough. Cheers! 🐉
