Part 18

KS was in her room playing with AK. VS was out for night duty so he wouldn't be home before 1 am.

AK crawled from the other side of the bed and climbed up on KS. KS smiled and started playing with her. KS picked her up and threw her in the air and caught her. AK started laughing which brought a smile on Karishma's face. No matter how stressed she was, whenever she played with Akshara she always felt like a child herself and all her stress was taken away.

Then KS took AK in her lap and was reading a book to her. Then in the book there was a picture of a monster so AK got scared. She turned around and hid herself in KS chest. KS was just adoring her cuteness.

KS (carressing her back): Ale itna darr kahe rhi ho ye kitab se bahar nhi aayega

AK: naaaaa....

KS: Accha dekho usko bhejdiya bahar ab dekho

AK: naaaa.....

KS put the book on the side table

KS: Ab kitab bhi rakhdi ab nhi ayega vo

AK (cute voice): Gaya?

KS: Haa babu gaya vo (kissing her forehead) Ab mumma ki jaan dudh piyegi

AK nodded her head with a smile

KS went to the kitchen and came with a bottle of milk. She handed over the bottle to Akshara and she drank it quietly. (Mene pehle kaha tha vo junior Haseena hai isliye itni shaant hai). Then KS put in her in the cradle to make her sleep but AK sat up with a grumpy face.

KS (giggling at her cute expressions): Kya hua baby

AK (not clearly): mumma...saath...sonaa

KS: Mumma k saath sona hai? Chalo (with a big smile)

KS put her on the bed beside her and put her to sleep. Then she kissed her forehead and slowly put her in the cradle.

At about 1 am, VS came home and saw his two angels sleeping peacefully. He gave a forehead kiss to both of them and he went and layed down beside KS. KS sensed some movement so she rolled over and snuggled into VS arms.

After an hour or two, Akshara woke up and started crying. Vyoshma also woke up due to the noise. KS quickly picked up AK from the cradle and tried to calm her down. But nothing seemend to work. She just wouldn't stop crying. Another hour passed like this and now it was 3:30 am. Then KS took Akshara outside to calm her down a little. She finally stopped crying but she wouldn't fall asleep. KS came back inside and saw VS sleeping

KS: Kaise baap hai yeh? yha bacchi ro rhi hai aur ye ghode bechke so rhe hai 😒

KS tried everything she could think of but Akshara just refused to sleep. After hours and hours of trying every single way she could, KS finally managed to put AK to sleep at 5 am. KS also slept but she had to wake up at 7 the next morning for duty.

She woke up and got ready but she was damn tired from staying up all night. PS noticed this.

PS: Tumhe kya hua aise chudail ki tarah kyu ghum rhi ho? Hum chudail bulate hai toh sachme khudko chudail maan liya?

KS: Pushpaji aap sochke bola kijiye kabhi kabhi

PS: Ayy amma hai hum tumhare

KS: Haa meri amma ammeshwari mateshwari baat suno hamari...kal Akshu 2 bje se lagadar ro rhi thi aur sone ka naam hi nai le rhi thi. Phir finally subhe 5 bje sogayi.

PS: Itna ro rhi thi toh hume jagaana chaiye tha naa...

KS: Aapko jagate toh raat ke 3 bje tandav macha deti

PS: 😒😒

PS: Chaliye ab taiyar hojaiye duty pe jaana hai

KS: 😒 Haan haan jaarhe hai

Everyone got ready and went to MPT. KS was in a bad mood and she was getting frustrated for every small thing. PS was trying her best to control not firing back at KS, but PS also lost her patience which was making it worse.

In the afternoon, Kareetosh (Karishma, Haseena, Santosh) were in HM's cabin discussing a case.

HM: KS aap jaiye aur dekhiye agar koi lead mile toh. Hume kaise bhi karke vo thag ki gang ke baare mein information chaiye par yaad rakhiye ki aap jo bhi kare kaanoon ke daire me rehkar kare

KS: MS hume pta hai kaanoon ka hota hai! Hum bhi police training me top kiye hai isliye mehrbani hoga agar aap baat baat pe hume kaanoon na sikhaye

HM didn't know about the incident with Akshara so she was just confused why KS was so mad.

HM: KS apne gusse pe control kijiye thoda!

SS tries to get HM's attention but HM ignores her

HM: Humne bas yhi kaha ki jo karo kanoon ke daiyre me rehke karo aur tum ho ki-

KS: Ahem ahem

HM: uhh......aap hai ki ulta humpe chilla rhi hai

KS: Hum chilla nhi rahe bas bol rhe hai aapko....har baar hamare kaam me taang adane ka jarurat nhi hum bhi independent officer hai aur hume acche se pta hai ka sahi aur ka galat

SS signaled to HM again but she ignores again

HM: Santu tum ruko thodi der

HM (to KS): Hum maante hai ki aapko pata hai par gusse me aakar aap bhul jaati hai isliye bas yaad dila rhe hai aapko

KS: Hume acche se yaad hai apko yaad dilane ki jarurat nhi!

HM was about to reply when KS interrupted

KS: Jai hind!

And she stormed out of the thana

SS was still trying to get HM's attention.

HM: Kya hua!!

SS: Madam...mai bas ye keh rhi thi ki Karishma madam ke baato pe dhyaan mat dena zyada...vo Pushpaji ne btaya tha subah ki Karishma madam ki neend puri nhi hui isliye sab pe gussa kar rhi hai....Akshu jaag gayi thi raat mein aur vo 5bje tak soyi nhi thi.....

HM realized that she shouldn't have said all that to KS.

HM: Toh aap kabse ye batana chahti thi hume?

SS: Ji...par aap dono ladne me hi itne busy the ki.....

HM: Maaf kijiye algi baar se dhyaan rakhenge ..... ab uss toofan ko shaant karne k liye kuch karna padega na......

SS: Ek kaam krte hai....Cheeta bol rha tha ki vo sabko ghar bulana chahta hai toh wo kaam bhi hojayega aur KM thodi shaant bhi hojayegi

HM: Good idea! Aur hum unse case ki update bhi wahi le lenge aur aage ka plan bhi wahi disscuss karenge. Good job SS!

SS flipped her collar in her special style.

In the evening at Cheeta's house:

SS came earlier than everyone else and rang the doorbell. CC opened the door and smiled to see SS there.

SS went inside and hugged him.

SS: Maa ghar pe nhi hai?

CC: Nhi vo toh rishtedar k ghar gyi hai

SS: Toh phir tu akele kaise ghar sambhalta hai? Khana kon banata hai?

CC: Amma sirf kuch dino k liye hi gayi hai toh hum toh tiffin mangaate hai bahar se

SS (upset): Cheete! Mujhe bolna chaiye tha naa! Mai khushi khushi tere liye khana banati roz!

CC: Hum aapko takleef nhi dena chahte the

SS: Isme takleef kaisi? Jab muje apni gf maan li hai aur parivaar ko bhi rishtey se koi problem nhi toh inta nhi kar skti hu tere liye!?

CC: Maaf kijye hume....hum bas aapko itna load lete nhi dekh sakte...thane me bhi itna kaam karti hai phir ghar aake bhi itna hi kaam karegi?

SS appreciated that he cared for her so much and his every gesture made her fall in love with him again.

CC (innocently): aap naraz hai humse?

SS (cupping his face): Nhi Cheete mai kabhi naraaz nhi hoskti hu tujhse

Both smiled

Then everyone else came as well except for AS because he had longer duty hours. They were all bored while waiting for him so they sat down on the sofa to watch tv. KS was still tired because she hadn't gotten proper sleep in the night plus she had a tiring day at work. She was so sleepy, she didn't realize that she fell asleep in HM's lap.

HM(smiling and carressing KS's hair): Kon keh sakta hai ki hamari dabang Karishma Singh jiske bhaukaal se pura Lucknow darta hai vo sote huwe bilkul bacchi jaisi lagti hai

Everyone smiled and PS did the nazar utarna thing.

PS (in her mind): Bhagwan kare inn dono ka rishta aisa hi bana rahe

After some time AS finally comes and they go in another room to start discussing the plan. Meanwhile KS also wakes up after her nap. She goes into the other room feeling completely fresh.

KS: Manna pdega Cheete tumhare sofa mein kuch jaadu hai! Ka gajab neend ayi hai aaj

Everyone smiled to themselves

KS: Muskura kahe rhe hai sab

SS: km aap sofa pe ni m-

HM glared at her to stop

KS: Ka M-

CC: Uhh Santuji ka kehna ka mtlb ye hai ki aap isse sofa mat bulaiye iska naam Mini hai

KS: Ama sofa ka naam kon rkhta hai?

CC: Madam vo ka haina hume apne ghar ki saari cheeze se bohut jyada lagaav hai isliye hum sab ko naam de dete hai

KS: Bade ajeeb aadmi ho tum- Bhakk hum bhi kya baketi krne bethgye aage ka plan btao

They all discuss the plan to catch the thieves and everyone is leaving except for Cheetosh.

SS is in the kitchen when HM comes in to find her keys

HM: Santu tumne haamri chabi dekhi kahi?

SS (looking around): Yha toh nhi hai....

Meanwhile KS also passes by the kitchen since they were all looking for the keys. She hears HM and SS talking and she hears her name so she stopped to listen.

SS: Vese MS aapne batane kyu nhi diya ki Karishma madam aapki goad me sogyi thi

KS smiled to herself and went away.

HM: Kuch cheeze chupi rahe toh hi behtar hai

SS looked at her with a confused expression but HM just gave her signature smile and left.
