Part 50

First of all, this story has finally completed 50 parts! For me, it's a huge achievement and I would like to thank each and every person here who supported me through my journey of these 50 parts. Without your support and motivation, I wouldn't have gotten this far. Keep loving and supporting!

Once everyone was ready, they left for the temple along with Ashi. Cheetosh, Akshu and Anubhav were standing in line to enter while KarEena, Vyom, Pushpaji & the twins were spread out around the crowd, looking for Ashi's parents. Just then, a voice came from behind.

V: Ashi?

Ashi turned around to see her sister standing behind her with a hand on her shoulder.

A: Hiya di? Aap yahan kaise?

H: Pehle tu bata tu yahan kaise aayi? Aur yeh log kaun hai tere saath?

A: Yeh meri dost hai, Akshu...school ke football team mein mere saath hai. Aur yeh sab uske parivaar wale hain.

H: Oh, namaste

All: Namaste

H(to Ashi): Ek minute, Mumma ne tujhe mandir kaise aane diya kal toh mana kar rahi thhi...?

Ashi explained the entire matter to her elder sister who thankfully understood her point of view. She agreed to keep it a secret that Ashi was at the temple and was ready to help Team MPT in knocking some sense into their mother. KarEena, Vyom, and Pushpaji continued looking for Ashi's family with no luck. At last they ended up in a small cluster in the middle of the crowd, with only a few people between them.

Karishma was whispering something in Vyom's ear when Haseena's voice came from behind, startling her. She squealed in surprise and nearly jumped into Vyom's arms.

KS: Amaa aap toh bhoot se bhi jyada daraawni nikli

HM: Aee kya matlab hai tumhara?

KS: Ah..nahi kuch nahi...aap yeh bataiye aapko Ashi ke maa-baap mile?

HM: Woh toh nahi mile par kuch aur milgaya (then muttered something under her breath)

KS: Kaa?

HM: Tabahi, aafat, durbhagy ki baarish!

KS: Huh? (extremely confused)

HM: Kuch nahi hume pad chahiye, hum apni bag ghar pe bhool gaye

KS: Ama toh aise seedha seedha nahi bol sakti thhi aap? (looking through her bag with an irritated expression)

While Karishma was still looking, Santosh came upto them and asked what happened

HM: Tumhare paas pad hai?

SS: Umm...shayad? Main dekhti hoon, rukiye

VS: Aaplog apna Mahila Mandal shuru rakhiye, hum chale Panditji ke paas. Bohot bhook lagi hai (don't take this offensively)

KS: Aap toh khate hi rahiye poora din (muttering under her breath)

She shook her head at Haseena saying she couldn't find anything. Vyom took a step in the other direction while still arguing with Karishma and accidentally bumped into a woman somewhere in her 50's.

W(shouting): Aee, dekhke nahi chal sakte tum?

VS: Maaf kijiye aunty, galti se takra gaye hum

W: Kya matlab galti se takra gaye?! Akal-wakal hai ki nahi?!

Karitosh perked up at the woman's statement and looked at her angrily ready to defend Vyom.

HM (to SS): Arre tum pad dhundne pe focus karo, Karishma sambhal lengi unko

The woman heard Haseena and clamped a hand to her mouth dramatically.

W: Kya boli aap? Aapko- aapko...vo...chahiye?! Woh bhi mandir mein?!

HM: Haan hume pad chahiye, kyun aapko koi dikkat hai?

W: Dikkat?! Hume koi dikkat hai?! Aapko sharam nahi aati mandir mein yeh sab maangte hue?

KS: Ama aap toh aise bolrahi hai jaise mandir ke beech koi haanikarak shastra maang liya hoga. Aur pad maangna koi paap toh nahi ki aap itna overacting kar rahi hai.

W: Paap nahi hai toh aur kya hai?! Hum toh kehte hai aise samay mandir aana hi paap hai! Aise jaayengi aap bhagwan ke saamne? Aise karengi aap bhagwan ke darshan?

Cheetah, Anubhav, Veyom, Pushpaji, Ashi, Akshu, Ishita, and Adi had gathered around this woman along with other people who had heard the commotion.

KS: Haan aise karengi woh bhagwan ke darshan, kisime himmat hai toh rok ke dikhaiye!

HM: Shaant Karishma, gussa karne se kuch nahi hoga. Aur aap- kya naam hai aapka?

W: Leela

HM: Haan toh Leela ji aapko aisa kyun lagta hai ki hum "aise samay" mein, yaani ki periods shuru hai uss samay hum mandir nahi aa sakte?

L: Lo, itna bhi nahi pata aapko! Saalon puraani maanyata hain ki aise samay par auraton ko rasoi mein aur mandir mein nahi jaana chahiye. Hamare maa ne hume yahin sikhaya hai aur hum bhi apne bacchon ko yahi sikhate aaye hain. Waise shakal se aap badi samajhdaar lagti hain isliye accha hoga ki aap hamari baat maankar yahan se jaaye aur punah aisi koi galti na kare

HM: Lekin humne toh koi galti ki hi nahi. Aapki yeh jo saalon puraani maanyata hain woh maazi mein hai aur hum abhi vartmaan mein hai. Poori duniya aage badh gayi, poora zamana badal gaya aur aapki soch abhi bhi wahin ki wahi reh gayi? Aapki maa ne jab aapko yeh sikhaaya tab naa hi auraton ko samaanta milti thhi aur naa hi unke jazbaaton ki qadar ki jaati thhi. Par ab waqt badal gaya hai aur yeh cheezein bhi badal gayi hai. Aap apne bacchon ko aisa sikshan deke unhi ki life kharab kar rahi hain, unhi ko dukhi kar rahi hain aap! Aur hume toh aap jaanti bhi nahi, hamari baat kyun maanegi par aap apne bacchon se khud puchiye kabhi ki unko kaisa lagta hai jab aap yeh sab karti hai? Kya beet'ti hai unpar

Leela pretended to be emotional and clapped her hands for Haseena with attitude.

L: Waah ji waah, kya speech di hain aapne. Hamara...hamara toh poora nazariya badal diya aapne. (tone change) Par hum acche se jaante hai hamare bacchon ke liye kya sahi hai aur kya galat isliye accha hoga agar aap hamare neeji mamle mein dakhalandaazi na kare!

The crowd had pretty much fallen silent except for the faint tune of spiritual music in the distance. Leela called out to her daughter and motioned for her to come with her and leave the temple

L: Hiya! Beta chalo hum jaarahe hai! Hume nahi rehna aise apavitra logon ke saath jinhe bhagwan ki bilkul bhi qadar na ho!

Hiya slowly came up to her mother and Santosh realized it was the same Hiya they'd met before. She told everyone else this and they all became alert. Leela grabbed her arm and dragged Hiya with herself to leave, but Haseena's voice came from behind them, making them stop and turn back around.

HM: Agar aap hume apavitra maanti hain toh aap khud bhi apavitra hi hain! Abhi aapne kya kaha ki hamare periods shuru hai isliye hum apavitra hain aur aisa"apavitra" shareer leke hum mandir mein aaye hai isliye hume bhagwaan ki qadar nahi hai. Yahin kaha thha na aapne?

L: Haan bilkul, isme kya galat hai

KS: Sab galat hai isme, har ek cheez galat hai! Agar aapko lagta hai ki periods ke waqt jo khoon aurat ke shareer se nikalta hai woh apavitra hota hain toh phir wahi aurat jab bacche ko janam deti hai tab woh baccha bhi apavitra hua na. Kyunki jo khoon aurat ke shareer se nikalta thha ab wahi khoon pregnancy ke samay uske bacche mein jaata hai.

SS: Phir toh aap bhi apavitra hui na, aapko bhi mandir mein aani ki ijazat nahi honi chahiye. Kyunki aapki maa ka khoon toh aapme bhi hai, haina? Aise toh sirf aap nahi, iss duniya ka har insaan apavitra hai kyunki har insaan ko aurat hi janam deti hai aur har insaan mein aurat ka khoon hota hai.

PS: Aur aap pehle kya keh rahi thhi, ki aisi cheezein ka zikr nahi karna chahiye yeh sab shabd bolne nahi chahiye. Kyun nahi bolna chahiye? Periods har aurat ko hote hai aur yeh ek natural cheez hai jiska naam lete hue sharam nahi aani chahiye. Agar kisiko koi bimaari hui hai toh aap uss bimari ka naam bindaas le lete hai, par itni natural cheez ka naam lete hue itni hichkichahat horahi hai aapko?

Leela was shocked at this statement. She didn't have anything to say back to KarEeToshPa's muh-tod javaab so she clenched her fist in anger and took a step forward to shout something at them, but Hiya stopped her.

H(taking a deep breath): Yeh sab sahi keh rahe hai, mumma. Jab- jab aapne mere saath aisa kiya tab mujhe bhi bohot bura lagta thha, par mujhme himmat nahi thhi aapke khilaaf jaane ki isliye main chup chaap aapki baat maanti rahi. Aur jab aapne Ashi ke saath aisa kiya tab usko bhi wahin mehsoos hua jo mujhe hua, bas farak itna hai ki usne himmat juta kar aapko muh pe bola ki usse yeh nahi pasand.

CC: Aur aaj uuhi Ashi wapas ghar nahi jaana chahti aapke bure bartaav ke kaaran. Uss bacchi ko itni choti si umar mein bhagwan ke liye itna prem hai yeh kitni badi baat hai, aur aap usse prabhavit karne ke jagah uske saath aisa bartaav kar rahi hain?

Leela let everyone's words sink in and realized she had made a huge mistake. She apologized to Haseena for talking rudely with her and requested to bring Ashi back. Ashi slowly emerged from behind Anubhav and went up to her mother. Leela apologized to her as well and promised not to make the same mistake again.

A: Thank you madam, meri samasya ka hal nikaalne ke liye. Aur aapko bhi thank you (to Santosh) meri baat sunne ke liye aur mera saath dene ke liye. Aapke liye ek salute toh banta hai!

Ashi and her family saluted Team MPT along with the others present in the crowd and the scene faded out.

Iss topic pe story likhne ke liye koi taane maarne hai kisiko toh bejhijak kijiye comments mein par main aapke kaaran yeh story delete nahi karungi aur naa hi iss topic be baat karna bandh karungi. Periods are natural for every girl/woman and there is nothing to be ashamed of while taking about a natural process. Asking for pads isn't a crime either, even though people treat it as one. I've seen, heard, and even experienced these stupid "discriminations" when someone is on their periods and have always been angry about it. I can't go talk to every single person with such horrible mentality but maybe I can spread the message through fanfiction. I have no intention to hurt anyone or their beliefs through my story.
