SS: Kya hua Cheete, sab thik haina?

Cheetah quickly explained everything with a worried face. Cheetosh had always been everywhere together since they met and they didn't know there was a day where they would have to be separated.

CC: Aap jayegi na

SS: Maddam Sir kehti hai desh ke liye Jaan bhi deni pade toh bina sochne de deni chaiye. Ye toh fir bhi mission ki Baat Hai.

CC: Hum aapko rok nhi rahe jaane se, bas Humko fikar horaha hai aapka aur baki sabka

SS: Fikr toh mujhe bhi rahega Tera par farz se peeche Nahi Hatt sakte naa

Cheetah nodded in an understanding way and wrapped his arms around Santu. She hugged him back just as tightly. After a while Cheetah heard snifles so he broke the hug and looked at Santu. Her eyes were brimmed with tears.

Cheetah cupped her face

CC: Kaa hua Santuji aap ro kahe rahi hai

SS: Agar mission pe- kisiko kuch hogaya toh- toh hum akele kaise thana sambhalenge-

CC: Santuji aap chinta mat kariye kuch nhi hoga, Maddam Sir kehti haina hum sab ek parivaar hai aur humko koi alag nahi kar sakta. Aur Karishma madam ke bhaukaal se aajtak koi Bach paaya hai jo uu manhoos terrorist Bach jayega..? Karishma madam uski aisi piatai karegi ki unki aane wali saat peediyan bhi ekoi Baat bolegi....

SS completed the sentence, smiling: Darogaji dekhe toh bahut tumsa nhi dekha

Cheetah gave her a forehead kiss and she left to get ready. Santu came back and packed her stuff. Cheetosh were at the door with Santu ready to leave.

CC(emotionally): Aap wapas toh ayegi na Santuji 🥺

SS(cupping his face): Haan Cheete aaungi mai wapas, kyu itni chinta kar rha hai

CC: Aap pyaar hai hamara, Jaan hai hamari, fikar toh karenge na 🥺 Bas Humko chodke mat jayega

SS: Mai waada karti hu tumse sabko sahi salamat leke aungi, phir wapas aake bohot sara icecream bhi khana haina saathme (innocently)

Cheetah smiled through his tears. Santu pecked his lips and left

Flashback ends

Santu was lost in her thoughts when a hand tapped her shoulder. She turned around

KS: Kya hua Santu?

SS: Ah- nhi kuch nhi...

KS: Kuch toh hai, batao

SS: Vo.... Maine Cheete se waada kiya tha sabko sahi salamat wapas laungi.... par... Agar-

KS: Santu, itna pareshan kahe horhi ho. Aise toh hum sab dare hai par iska mtlb yeh nhi ki hum haar maan le.

HM: Karishma sahi keh rhi hai. Tajurba kehta hai hamara, haarta vo hai jo haar maan leta hai. Agar hum hosla rakhenge toh jaha jeetne ki zara si bhi gunjaish na ho waha bhi jeet sakte hai hum. Bas ladne ki taakat aur bhagwan pe bharosa chaiye.

Santu nodded but she was still tensed.

KS: Acha ek kaam kro, thodi der aaram karlo toh dimaag ekdum fresh hojayega, hmm

Santu put her head on Karishma's shoulder and closed her eyes. Karishma started tapping her head and soon enough she dozed off to sleep.

They reached the headquarters and woke up Santu. The four of them stood facing each other and realized this might be the last time they were together. Karishma saw Santu tearing up so she engulfed her in a hug and rubbed her back to calm her down.

Meanwhile, Anubhav pulled Haseena to the side and conquered her lips. She responded with equal passion, taking in the feeling of his lips on hers. They broke the kiss after a while due to shortness of breath but Haseena wasn't ready to stop so she cupped his face and pressed her lips on his again. Finally they drifted apart and Anubhav caged her in his arms.

AS(whispering): I love you jaan

HM(whispering back): I love you too Anu

Haseena hugged Santu and Karishma hugged Anubhav.

AS/HM: All the best behna/Santu

KS/SS: All the best Anu bhaiya/di

At last KarEena faced each other ready to break down anytime. Karishma ran into Haseena's arms and Haseena hugged her as tight as possible. After some time, Haseena cupped her face and kissed her forehead

HM: Khayal rakhna baccha

KS: A-aap bhi

They broke the hug and stood formally facing Anubhav.

AS: Ready for the mission, team?

KarEeTosh: Yes sir!

AS: Jai Hind!

KarEeTosh: Jai Hind!

The four of them went inside and took their places. The seniors came and gave instructions to everyone. They divided the officers into 4 teams plus one team for cyber experts. Kareenav + Santu were all in separate teams. The 4 teams were to be sent to the north, south, east & west of UP. Everyone had about an hour to train with their teams and then they had to leave for their respective areas.

C: Yaad rakhiyega hamara maqsad sheher ke naagrik ki raksha karna hai, na hi terrorist ko maar dena. Isliye apne gusse pe kaabu rakhiye aur har faisla soch samajh kar lena. Agar kisiko koi bhi clue mile toh foran cyber department ko contact kardena taaki hum pata laga sake vo humla exactly kahan hone wala hai. Is that clear?

All: Yes sir!

C: Jai Hind!

All: Jai Hind!

C: Dismissed

Everyone split up into their teams and left for training. After training they reached their assigned area. Everyone patrolled there day and night taking turns in shifts. Like that the entire night and the next day passed. It was now the afternoon of August 14th, and the day after was Independence Day.

It was Anubhav's turn to patrol the border of the west side [mera Geo boht kharab hai aur google baba ko puchne me aalas aarhi hai toh merko nhi pta west me konsa city/district aata hai] Suddenly, his walkie talkie beeped and he picked it up.

AS: Romeo reporting

SS: Jai Hind sir, mai Santosh Sharma

AS: Jai Hind Santosh, aap thik hai?

SS: Ji sir, aap kaise hai?

AS: Hum bilkul theek hai aur hamare saath upasthit sabhi jann surakshit hai. Haseena Malik aur Karishma Singh ki koi suchna?

SS: Nhi sir abhi toh kuch pata nhi lekin mujhe pura vishwas hai dono jaha bhi honge theek hi honge

AS: Ji. Aapse sampark karke accha laga ki hamari team me se koi toh surakshit hai. Ab hum rakhte hai, koi clue mile toh avashya batayenge

SS: Ji sir, Jai hind

AS: Jai Hind

They ended their conversation. Another excruciatingly long hour crawled by until a constable came running into the control room, panting. The cyber cell senior officer made him calm and asked him to say what happened.

C: Sir (huffs) hume khabar mili hai ki terrorist attack hone wala nhi ho chuka hai!

All: Kya?!

C: Ji, unn logo ne Ghaziabad City Forest mein bomb plant kiya hai jo kabhi bhi phat sakta hai

Cyber Senior (CS): Aapko pura yakeen hai ki yeh khabar sach hai?

C: Ji sir, hume ek atankvadi ka phone mil gaya tha (online yaar, aise side me pada thoda milne wala tha) toh humne tap karke baatein sun li par isse pehle ki hum location nikal sake, phone kat gaya

CS: Theek hai, hum comissioner sir ko batate hai aap sab alert rahiye

They verified the news was correct and everyone in the cyber department was set to contact the team members sent in 4 directions.

Sakshi Choudhary (Some Random SHO) & HM (from their separate locations): Alpha 4/ Delta 2 reporting sir

Random Senior 1& 2: Haseena Malik/Sakshi Choudhary hume update mili hai ki Ghaziabad City Forest mein bomb plan kiya gaya hai jo kabhi bhi diffuse hosakta hai. Humne bomb squad ko contact kiya hai par shayad network issues hai isliye untak call nhi pohoch rha. Agar aapke team me koi hai jinko bomb diffusion ki thodi si training li ho toh unko shaam tak City Forest bhejne ka intezaam kijiye.

HM/SC: Yes sir, Jai Hind!

Senior 1/2: Jai Hind

Sakshi hadn't taken bomb training herself, so she contacted her team members and asked if anyone had diffused a bomb before. A few people said they had, so Sakshi made arrangements for them to reach City Forest.

8 pm in Ghaziabad:

Many people had arrived from each team and they were all standing in a line in front of Comissioner sir.

C: Hamari khabri ke mutabik bomb kal subah thik 4 baje phatega. Usse pehle hume poora bomb system diffuse karna hoga. Sirf 8 ghante hai hamare paas, make sure you use your time wisely. SHO Haseena Mallik will be the leader of this squad, make sure everyone co-operates and follows her orders. Aaj phirse hume aazadi ke liye ladna hai, hamare sheher ke naagrik ki jaan bachani hai. Inn 8 ghanto mein sabko puri shiddat aur imandari se kaam karna hai. Is that clear?

All: Yes sir

Commissioner left and Haseena came in front to start giving instructions. Everyone respected her, but one person was exceptionally happy to see her. Of course, it was none other than our Karishma Singh. A sense of relief washed over her as she saw Haseena in front of her eyes. They both shared a short eyelock making sure the other was okay.

Haseena gave instructions and everyone listened attentively. They all promised to go by the plan and contact one another if there was any trouble.

But unknown to them, one police officer hidden in the shadows wasn't paying attention at all. He was smirking to himself thinking of the chaos he was going to cause.
