Part 42

Haseena left the room and Vyom continued doing the patti until Karishma's temperature was decent. He put the cold water aside and fell asleep, backhugging Karishma.

After a few hours, Karishma woke up again with goosebumps on her arms. She made sure the AC was off and so was the fan, but nothing was helping. She started shivering which woke up Vyom.

VS: Karu...itna kaanp kyun rahi ho?

KS: P-Patidev h-humko t-thand l-lag rahi hai

Vyom touched her forehead worriedly and found her burning with fever again. Meanwhile Karishma's shivering was getting more intense. If he got up even for a second she might literally freeze to death.

KS(hardly able to speak): P-Patidev....kuch......kijiye

There was no other option except body heat so Vyom removed his shirt and made Karishma wear it. She came closer to him and he fully encaged her in his arms. He pulled the blanket over her and was continuosly rubbing her back to give her some warmth. After a while, Karishma stopped shivering and dozed off to sleep.

The next morning, Karishma woke up first and felt something hard rubbing against her face. She moved back a little and saw Vyom sleeping shirtless. Even after so many years of marriage and being the mother to his children, Vyom's muscular body always made her blush. She slowly ran her hand over his abs feeling each and every muscle. Then she kissed his bare chest, right above his heart and bit her lip to hide her red cheeks.

VS: Ab sharmana hi hai toh zara hamare saamne sharmaiye na patni ji

Karishma looked up in shock

KS: Ama aap jaag rahe the?

VS: Hum toh jaage hi hain kabse...vaise kya baat hai, aaj subah subah bada pyaar aarha hai aapko (flirty)

KS: N-Nai aisa kuch nhi hai...wo...bas...aapke uthne ka intezar kar rhe the

VS: Aur wo kyun

KS: Aapse matlab? (changing her tone)

VS: Han bilkul, hume bhi toh pata hona chaiye hamari biwi ke mann me kitna romance bhara hai

KS: Aap aur aapki romance ki baatein, kabhi rukti hi nahi! Humko toh shaq horaha hai kahi apne job interview me bhi yahi sb toh nhi bola tha!

Vyom frowned and Karishma continued

KS: Aur aapki jaankari ke liye bata de ki humko taiyyar hone jaana tha isliye aapke uthne ka intezar kar rhe the

VS: Aur aapki jaankari ke liye bata de ki taiyyar hone ke liye pehle jo hamari t-shirt pehen li hai wo utarni padegi na

KS: Aapki t-shirt hai aap hi utariye

VS: Gajab hai, pehni khud hai aur hume utarne ke liye bolrahi hai

KS: Ab utaarenge ya hum pehen ke hi nahale?

Vyom frowned and reached for the bottom of the t-shirt to pull it off when an evil idea popped into his mind. He grabbed the t-shirt underneath as well and pulled them both out leaving Karishma in only innerwear. Her eyes widened in embarrassment and she covered herself with her arms.

VS(huskily): T-shit utaar di, ab aur bhi kuch utarna hai ya nahane jaogi tum

KS: Nahane hi jayenge, lekin poora badla leke 😎

Karishma rolled over him and propped herself up on her elbows, giving him a daring look

Vyom gave a sweet kiss on her forehead, making them both smile

They looked into each others eyes, the camera slowly switching between both pairs of eyes

Vyom tightened his grip on her waist, still looking into her eyes

Tu shingaar mera tu ae maahi gehna ve

He pulled her upwards, making her bare skin brush with his and she brought her hands up, grabbing his shoulders.

Karishma lowered her head and bit his lower lip.

Vyom made patterns on her back while Karishma's hands entangled themselves in his hair.

Karishma grabbed the blanket from the side and pulled it over their heads. They both looked into each other's eyes, coming closer at every second.

At last, Karishma went down and kissed his lips softly. Vyom tilted his face slightly and their lips locked.

They slowly broke the kiss and Karishma threw the blanket aside. She was about to get up when Vyom stopped her

VS: Kaha jaarhi ho?

KS: Goa wale beach pe aish karne (with full sarcasm)

VS: Seedha javab milega?

KS: Ama nahane jaarhe hai, dikh nahi raha ka aapko?

VS: Oh hello hume toh tumse behtar dikhai deta hai. Aur abhi sirf 7 baje hai aajao wapas

KS: Ama oh hum aapki tarah velle nahi hai pura din, kaam hai humko aur duty pe jaana hai!

VS: Tum aaj nhi jaarhi duty pe

KS: Kahe

VS: Kahe ka Kahe? Haalat dekhi thi apni kal raat? 104 upar bukhar tha tumhe, aur aise kaanp rahi thi jaise kisine nange-pau Himalaya ke barf me chalne ko bola ho.

KS: Vo sab tha, abhi nahi hai matlab hum jayenge duty pe aur aap rok nahi sakte!

She stormed off into the bathroom to get ready and Vyom rolled his eyes at her. Everyone got ready and was packing their food when Vyom called Anubhav aside and requested him to convince Karishma not to go to work.

AS: Dekhiye jijaji, hum maante hai Karishma ki tabyat abhi nazuk hai lekin aaj press conference me jaana anivarya hai

VS: Kiska varya?

SS(from behind): Anivarya...matlab zaroori

VS/AS turned around in shock to see Santu standing there. Anubhav gave her a questioning look asking how she knew the meaning.

SS: Sirrr vo kya haina mai hamesha hindi-english dictonary saath rakhti hu kyunki aap jab bhi bolte hai mujhe samajh hi nahi aata toh on the spot translation karna padta hai

CC: Smaart Santuji smaart

VS: Vo sab toh theek hai lekin tum dono ne kuch suna toh nahi?

SS: Nahi toh...lekin.....haww iska matlab aap Karishma madam ke khilaaf saazish karenge?! Very baad bhaiya

VS: Arre jadbuddhi

SS: Jadbuddhi nahi

VS: Toh mandbuddhi! (Santu frowned) Dekho, kal Karishma ki tabyat bigad gayi thi na toh hum usse aaj duty pe jaane se mana kar rahe hai taaki tabyat aur na bigad jaye. Lekin vo maan nahi rahi aur usko duty pe jaana hai, toh hum kuch soch rahe hai usko rokne ke liye...toh soche?

SS: Han

VS/AS: Dhanyawaad aapka (folding their hands)

SS: Its okay

and Cheetah started his never ending 'Santuji kitni bholi, kitni masoom hai aap......' ratta.

Okay chalo fast forward to Press Conference:

Everyone was sitting at their respective places at the press conference when the senior officer called Haseena

O: Miss Mallik, aapne kaha tha aap kisi dhokebaaz ka parda fansh karegi aaj, toh kya hua uska? Saboot laayi hai aap?

HM: Ji sir, pura saboot hai hamare paas aur aaj hum pure department ko dikhana chahenge.

She gestured to someone to play a video clip. The clip showed Bulbul planning against Mahila Police Thana and trying to close it down. It also showed proof of him intentionally trying to separate KarEena and taking 'rishwat' from criminals. There was even proof of Bulbul blackmailing Sakshi into hurting Karishma.

Bulbul, who was also sitting in the press conference, was shocked at the video playing on the screen. How did they find all these proofs? He always made sure no one witnessed him making his evil plans. Bulbul hid his face from others so they didn't see he was present in the press conference.

The video finished playing and the senior officer came forward to speak.

Will the senior officer believe the proofs?
