Everyone got ready and was packing their stuff when someone rang the doorbell. Vyom went to open it and saw.....
Santu thi yaar, koi khooni thodi aane wala tha
She came with Cheeta to meet the kids before duty. Cheetosh kept the kids distracted while everyone else finished their work.
*Main bs itna likhi thi uske aage koi idea hi nhi aarha tha par ab meko Independence day ka likhna hai so usi ka start kiya*
3 years later, AdiSha (Aditya + Ishita) were 4 and Akshu was 8. Cheetosh were now in a live-in relationship since Santu wasn't ready to marry.
They were all sleeping when Anubhav's phone rang. He woke up in half slumber and saw the caller ID, commissioner sir.
AS(to himself): Comissioner sir itni subah subah?
AS: Jai Hind sir, suryoday ke samay durbhash karna kaise hua?
C(confused as hell with his hindi): Ye durbhash kya hota hai?
AS: Durbhash mtlb phone, sir aapko itni hindi toh smjh aani chaiye
C: Anubhav babu ye 2021 hai yaha 2021 ki hindi boli jaati hai aur tum abhi bhi 1492 ki hindi mein atke hue ho, aise me hamare buzurg ko bhi tumhari hindi smjh nhi ayegi. Khair, hume abhi abhi khabar mili hai ki Swatantrata Divas pe terrorist attack hone wala hai.
AS: Kya?!
C: Ji, kab aur kaha yeh nhi pta lekin pure Uttar Pradesh pe khatra hai. Isliye saare inspector rank aur cyber cell ke officers ko dophar tak Kanpur main headquarters report karna hai. Wahi se department milkar faisla lega aage kya karna hai.
AS: Ji sir, hum Hamari team ko leke pohoch jayenge
C: Good.
Anubhav put down the phone and rubbed his eyes. He looked at Haseena sleeping and gently woke her up. Haseena groaned and snuggled into his lap.
AS: Uth jaiye jaan, duty pe jaana hai
HM: Uth rhe hai
Anubhav explained what happened and worry lines creased Haseena's forehead.
HM: Hume jitna jaldi hosake waha pohochna hoga
AS: Ji, aap taiyyar hojaiye, hum Karishma ko uthate hai
HM: Arre nai vo Majnu-Laila ka koi bharosa nhi, Pushpaji ko hi bhejna padega
AS: Ye bhi sahi hai..... hum uthate hai unko
Haseena left to get ready and Anubhav woke Pushpaji. He explained what happened and asked her to wake Karishma.
Pushpaji went in Vyoshma's room, and thankfully they had clothes on. (Romance me PhD ki hai yaar, unke liye toh this is a big achievement 🥲) Karishma was sleeping on top of Vyom so Pushpaji went and shook her.
Karishma groaned and swatted the air
PS: Huhh ye toh neend me bhi mukka maarti hai! 😤 Pyaar aur jazbaat Naam ki koi cheez hi nhi hai iske liye! Bechara hamara lalla, uske toh bhaagy hi phoot gaye 😫
Karishma was fully awake now. She got off Vyom and sat on the bed.
KS: Ka Pushpaji, subah subah apna purana record shuru kardiya?
PS: Pushpaji nhi Amma hai hum tumhare
KS: Malum hai Humko! Aur (checking the time) Ama abhi 5 baje hai itni jaldi kahe utha diya humko?!
PS: Hamari puri Baat sunegi toh pata chalega na
KS: Aapne sunayi hi kab, aate hi daantna shuru kardiya!
PS: Ha toh aur kya kare? Din bhar toh logo ki pitai karti rehti hai aab sapne me bhi 10-15 logo ko hospital pohocha diya hoga.
KS: Hum jiska sapna dekhe aapse matlab?! Aapko thodi na kuch hone wala hai. Aur vaise bhi-
HM(glaring at them): Hogaya aap dono ka?
PS: Hamara hogaya isse pucho (frowning at Karishma)
KS: Han.... Hamara bhi... (frowning back at her)
HM: Maa, aapko yaha Karishma ko uthane ke liye bheja tha jhagadne ke liye nhi!
Pushpaji got emotional hearing 'Maa' from Haseena.
PS: A-Abhi kya kaha tumne 🥺
HM(smiling): Maa
Pushpaji smiled emotionally.
HM: Are isme emotional kyu horhi hai aap, Ammi ke baad sabse zyada aap hi hume samajhti hai toh aap bhi hamari maa hui na
PS: Bilkul. Aur maa ka farz hota hai apne bacchon ki raksha karna, isliye hum tum sabke liye prarthna karenge ki sahi salamat laut aao.
HM: Aapki dua hamare Saath hogi toh koi Hume chhu bhi nhi skta (putting her hands on PJ's shoulders and smiling)
KS interrupted a little loudly: Aap dono ka emotional bakloli hogaya ho toh koi humko batayega ka challa hai
Karishma's loud voice woke up Vyom. Haseena rolled her eyes at Karishma and then explained everything.
Karishma looked at Vyom and he nodded silently. His expression clearly showed he wasn't okay, but he knew it was for the country. She squeezed his hand and their eyes met.
Haseena looked at them with pride. Vyoshma had probably gone through this every time Karishma had to go on a mission. It wasn't easy on either of them but they agreed without question because it was for the country.
KS: Thik hai, hum taiyyar hokar aate hai aap jaiye
Pushpaji and Haseena left the room.
Vyom sat up and caged Karishma in his arms. He tightened the grip, pouring out his fears into the hug. Karishma broke the hug and gently kissed his lips.
KS: Maaf kar dijiye humko, phirse aise bina bataye mission pe jaarhe hai
VS: Nhi, tum jao, aakhir desh ki bhalai ke liye hi hai
KS: Aap na, bohot acche hai, hum aur amma kitni baar aise mission pe jaate hai jisme Jaan ka khatra hai Lekin aapne ek baar bhi nhi roka hume. Ye jaante hue ki shyd wapas naa bhi aye, aapne kabhi Humko duty karne se nhi roka.
VS: Aaplog duty karke apna farz nibha rahe ho toh main aapki kamzori nhi bann sakta. Haan mujhe ye sab nhi psnd par desh ke liye itna toh kar skta hu.
Karishma smiled slightly and sat in his lap to face him. He pulled her into a deep kiss. Meanwhile his hands reached under her shirt and caressed her waist. Her legs wrapped around him and her hands cupped his face, deepening the kiss. After a while, they broke the kiss due to shortness of breath and Karishma left to get ready.
Kareenav were ready and the kids were awake now since it was time for them to go to school. Cheetah and Santu were also here since Santu had to go as well.
I: Bua aap hume chodke jaalahe ho?
KS: Nhi baccha hum bas duty pe jaarahe hai
A: Toh aap wapach kab aaoge
Karishma looked at Anuseena not knowing how to answer Adi's question. They might be back in 2 days, or maybe never, but how could she break this to an innocent child?
Haseena bent down and took Adi in her arms.
HM: Humse jitna jaldi ho sake laut aayenge, thik hai. Aur tum toh mard ho na, toh apne behne ka khayal rakhna tumhari zimmedari hai.
Adi puffed out his chest in a show-off manner and everyone smiled at his cuteness.
AK(clinging on to HM): Mami hum nhi jaane denge aapko
HM: Kyu baccha
AK: Humne dekha hai movies me, aise hi sab chale jaate hai aur bacchon ko bolte hai hum wapas ayenge par wo kabhi wapas nhi aate.....
Haseena didn't know how to reply. There was a 90% possibility they didn't return, but she didn't want Akshu to lose hope. Anubhav came and kneeled down beside Akshu
AS: Acha dekho, tumhe mamu pe vishwas hai?
Akshu nodded slowly
AS: Toh mamu waada karte hai tumse ki sabko sahi salamat wapas tumhare paas laayenge, thik hai?
Akshu smiled and hugged Anubhav.
Kareenav & Santu took blessings of Pushpaji and Karishma hugged Vyom one last time. They were about to turn around and take their bags when Pushpaji called KarEena back.
PS: Suno tum dono, jaan dene ka bahut shauk haina tumko toh dene se pehle zara humko pehle phone karlena toh hum bhi saathme upar jaye!
KS: Arre amma, kahe itna tension le rahi hai aap. Aap hi kehti haina hum sherni hai, phir aapko apni sherni pe vishwas nhi?
Pushpaji nodded with tears brimming her eyes
KS: Toh bas. Aapki sherni pe vishwas rakhiye, aur apni laadli beti ka fikar mat kijiye hum kuch nhi hone denge unko.
Haseena wiped PJ's tears: Karishma kehti haina, aapke golgappe wale chehre pe ye aasu acche nhi lagte...poch lijiye apne aasu aur befikar rahiye. Aapke aashirvad hamare saath hai toh kuch nhi hosakta hume.
Pushpaji kissed their foreheads and hugged them both.
Kareenav finally sat in the car and waved goodbye to everyone.
In the car, Santu was looking out the window thinking about the promise she made to Cheetah. It was her first time on this type of mission and she was excited, but still worried whether she would be able to keep her promise or not.
Flashback
Cheetosh were sleeping in each other's arms when Santu's phone rang.
SS(half sleepy): Cheete phone utha naa
CC: Mhmm Santuji sone dijiye na
SS: Pleaseee Cheete
Cheeta couldn't deny her plead so he picked up the phone and accidentally yawned into it
AS: Cheetah Chaturvedi kya badtameezi hai yeh!
*Socho agar subah subah aise teacher ka phone aata toh apni kaisi haalat hoti 🥲*
Cheeta got scared hearing Anubhav's voice and quickly covered his mouth.
CC: J-Jai Hind sir
AS: Jai Hind. Aapki neend puri hogayi ya baadme phone kare?
CC: Sawry sir sawry.... aap Boliye....
Anubhav explained everything to him and his expressions changed from sleepy to shocked to worried. Santu also woke up hearing the noise and noticed Cheetah's expressions.
SS: Kya hua Cheete, sab thik haina?
