Caspian Throndsen's Point of View

(30 minutes before the bloody incident.)

"What's the plan?" Kenji said in a nervous tone.

All of us, including the royal guards are outside the mansion.

"I assume that Lady Haydn has the ability to track Velvet's location?" Red said. "I expect nothing less from a living legend."

"Heh, very well said."

Thelamora Haydn closed her eyes for three seconds. "Hmmm..."

"Where is she?" I asked.

Lady Haydn then, opened her eyes. "Patience...my prince."

...

Patience...I don't have that right now.

"She's on an abandoned manor near the Blueton square."

Blueton square...It's not that far from here!

"We deeply express our gratitude." Said Red. "And now, Princess Camilla... This may be hard for you, but it would be for the best if you stay here."

I shifted my gaze to Camilla, who's surprisingly....calm.

"Camilla..." I sighed.

" Is that so? I will stay here if I must."

Huh?

Well, I wasn't expecting that.

"We're running out of time. We must go." Lucas said with a lack of manner.

"Let's run!" Said Calixtar.

"That's unnecessary, Lord Zinitriou." Haydn smiled.

"What do you mean unnecessary?"

And then....Haydn snapped her fingers.

SWOOSH

Teleportation, huh.

How fortunate.

"Intruders!!" Yelled a man in a robe.

There are a bunch of mages waiting for us, huh. Their number is about, twenty or so.

"On guard!" I yelled.

These are a bunch of weakling compared to us.

I unsheathed my sword.

Calixtar, Kenji, and Lilian transformed to their wolf form.

Red led the royal guards to a fight with the mages.

And...

Lucas, me, and Haydn stood still as we caught a glimpse of a man with a mask.

"Daven..." Haydn hissed.

And then a moment later he dissapeared.
