"Y/n can you hear me?" Chris asked in your earpiece, you couldn't move. You couldn't speak. You couldn't do anything. Those monsters were everywhere after you had entered the village, you were sent in to scout. Entering one the houses had been a mistake for a heavy log had fallen down and crushed your leg.
"I'm injured" you whispered, you thought he wouldn't hear but he did.
"Tell me your position" he said, a tear fell down your cheek as you tried to hold in your cries. The roof above you creaked as one of the monsters searched for you.
You took deep breaths as you tried to calm yourseld down. "Don't come for me, they'll kill you. Find and kill Miranda" you whispered."Y/n? Tell me your position now!" His voice got angrier, it was classic for your brother to get protective. "I love you" you whispered before disconnecting from the call. You knew survival would be slim, very slim. You tried to lift the log many times but it was useless and thanks to the bloodloss you grew weaker. "Fuck" you muttered as you tried lifting it again. You felt your heart pounding faster as panic grew inside you, the adrenaline you used to have began to vanish, making the pain worse.
The log stopped blood from reaching the area below your thighs, that's when an idea popped up in your head. It was the last thing you wanted to do but there wasn't any other choices really. You reached down to your right foot and grabbed a knife that was strapped underneath. You ripped a part from your jacket you used to bind your thigh. You made sure it was as tight as possible until you began sawing.
The pain was unbearable, you had to put something in your mouth to keep your screams quiet. It felt like an eternity until you finally reached the end. You quickly took bandage from your small backpack and bandaged what was left of your thigh, blood was everywhere. You were afraid the monsters would smell it and track you so you began crawling towards the door as quickly as you could.
In the meantime you eyed your surroundings for something you could use as a crutch. Your helmet scanned the area but unfortunetly there wasn't anything useful. You kept dragging yourself as close to the wall of the house as possible, trying not to be seen. Your mind grew weaker with each minute but you kept going. One of the monsters passed in front of you. freezing in place you tried to lay as still as possible.
It kept going and climbed to another roof before dissapearing from your view. You didn't know where else to go so you decided to drag yourself and hide behind a bush that had it's little place near a fence.
You felt your head spinning and every sound become muffled to you. The last thing you heard before passing out was
"What do we have here?".Pain, that was all you felt. You opened your eyes slowly only to realize you were in a bed, you examined the room and quickly noticed a strange man sitting in a chair right beside you.
"Almost thought you wouldn't wake up, the way you bandaged your leg kept you alive until I arrived, don't worry the bleeding isn't as bad as before" he said. You pulled yourself up a bit to lean your back against the wall.
"You must be a tough fucker to shop off your own leg like that" he then said, an impressed look plastered on his face."I had no choice really" you said, eyeing him suspiciously. You didn't fully trust him, you remember Chris talking about one of the lords and how dangerous his powers were. You recognized Heisenberg thanks to his hammer that was placed in the corner of the room.
"But you did, you could have led your friends to your location an-"
"And let them die to those monsters?" You snapped, his smirk dissapeared as he leaned forward in the chair and tried to see anything of your facial features behind your helmet. He had tried to remove it earlier but it wouldn't budge somehow."Why don't you remove your helmet, let me see what's behind" he said determined.
"Why would I?" You asked with a chuckle, crossing your arms over your chest.
"Well I want to see who I saved, is that too much to ask?" He laughed while leaning back in his chair, crossing his arms as well."Why should I trust you Heisenberg?" You asked, he took off his glasses to reveal his eyes.
"You know who I'm and how I look, it's only fair you do the same" he said. You sighed in annoyance before pressing a button on the base of the neck. The helmet loosened, you slowly pulled it off and put it beside the pillow. You noticed Heisenberg's eyes widening as he admired your face, he probably eyed the scar that was placed across your right eye.
"My name is Y/n Redfield" you said holding out your hand for him, he held out his own and roughly shook your hand."You're here to kill Miranda aren't you?" He asked amused.
"My business here is none of your concern" you said while trying to move to the edge of the bed. The pain was still unbearable."You see, I'm building an army to overthrow her. I can only asume you're here to stop her with all equipment you're carrying, most tourists doesn't come armed with multiple guns and knives" he said. You noticed your favourite knife in his hand, you had gotten it from Chris on your 18th birthday. That knife was worth more than anything.
"What do you want?" You snapped while snatching the knife from him.
"I want us to work together, you and your men seem to know what you're dealing with. I want in, you could also have need of my army" he said. You thought about it for a moment. "Why would you do this?" You looked at him with a puzzled look.
"That's not any of your business, all you need to know is that I'm an ally you can trust" he said before standing up.You soon realized you hadn't contacted your brother since you passed out, he probably thought you were dead. You pressed on your earpiece to see if you could contact him.
"Chris?" Nothing came through at first, only silence. Suddenly you heard background noises and a "Y/n!? Y/n! Thank god, what happened?" A frantic but relieved Chris asked.
"I'm alright, sort of" you said, looking down at the bandages.
"Sort of? What is that supposed to mean! You got me worried sick" he snapped. Heisenberg quickly sneaked out to god knows where as you tried to calm down your brother and explained the situation."You're with Heisenberg? You need to get out of there right now" he said sternly.
"He seems trustworthy enough, I'll give him a chance. If he tries something I'll shoot him right where he stands" you said, disconnecting from the call once again. You didn't have the energy to listen to his yelling. You plopped down on the bed again and sighed."How am I supposed to be able to fight with one leg?" You thought. You closed your eyes to try to sleep the pain away. You didn't get far until the door opened. You didn't open your eyes until someone cleared their throat. You finally opened your eyes and was met by Heisenberg standing there with something behind his back.
"What are you up to?" You asked curiously.
"You're kinda useless with only one leg, sorry, so I made this for you" he said as he held out a mechanical leg.
"It should fit perfectly" he said as he laid it down by your thigh to measure it.
"Thank you" you breathed as you admired his work.
"I will have to perform a surgery of sorts to be able to make it work, don't worry you won't be awake to feel it" he said as he picked you up brida style.
"Alright, if I die by your hands my brother will have you killed" you said sternly."I won't harm you gorgeous" he said. Your eyes widened at the nickname.
"Excuse me, gorgeous??" You thought. That was the last thing on your mind before he put you down on a table and injected you with something. You eyes felt heavier with each second and you soon were unconcious. You were woken up by someone shaking your shoulders. "If she's dead, you'll pay" a voice said, a crash could be heard a split second later. You quicky opened your eyes and saw Chris holding Heisenberg by the collar against the wall.
"Chris!" You yelled as you stood up, you expected to fall but you didn't. You quickly looked down and saw the mechanical leg attached to you. It was as if it was your own to begin with.
"Y/n!" He sighed relieved, jogging up to you and wrapping his arms around you.
"You're not coming on any more missions" he said sternly, your face went from a smiling angel to a "biitch" face.
"You can't-" you began but was rudely interuppted. "I put you in danger to begin with, I don't want you to die because of me" he said with a saddened face. You sighed in understanding as you wrapped your arms around him.
"If that's your decision then, alright" you whispered. Chris gave you a small smile before kissing you on the forhead and leaving the room.Heisenberg had been leaning against the wall smoking this whole time.
"You're not listening to him are you?" He asked.
"Nope, anyway I just wanted to thank you, for using recources on me and taking your time to help me" you said, taking small footsteps towards him.
"It was my pleasure" he smirked. You gave him a quick peck on the cheek before turning around and left. Leaving a flustered Heisenberg behind.
