"You wanted to see me Heisenberg?" You asked, entering his workshop.

"You've been here long enough and you still call me Heisenberg? You know you can just call me Karl, gorgeous" he chuckled, not looking up from his work.

"I'll have to get used to it" you laughed, a hint of nervousity in there.
"Could you help me here, this is a two-man job" he said, holding out a welding helmet and gloves for you.
Together the two of you began welding one of his soldats, as he liked to call them.

"What will you do when you're finally free?" You asked after you the two of you finished.

He looked deep in thought for a second until he removed his glasses.
"Travel around the world and find home, what about you?"

You didn't really know, there wasn't really anything outside the village for you. All you desired was a home with someone to share it with. Maybe a dog.
"I don't know, I have a feeling I'll be stuck here".

"You've done enough for today gorgeous, go home. I'll send a lycan if I need anything else. Also be careful of Ethan, he's probably roaming around somewhere" he said, going back to his work.

"Alright, I'll see you tomorrow then. Goodbye Karl" you said before leaving,
a smile graced Karl's lip at his name being finally mentioned.

"See you soon" he whispered before continuing his work.

You were on your way home to a little secluded cottage that wasn't too far away from the factory when you were met by a man with a gun, he hadn't seen you yet so you managed to hide behind a boulder.
This had to be that Ethan Karl mentioned.

You decided to go the other way towards the cottage than follow him and see what he was up to.
You plopped down on your bed and breathed out.
You had been working for Heisenberg for quite some time now.
He had been cruel in the beginning, overworking you from sunrise to sunset until recently.
He had began warming up to you and gave you more breaks.
Today for example, you just worked for about three hours compared to the ten hours schedule. You were beyond thankful.

You soon were consumed by exhaustion and passed out. Dreams about Heisenberg, entering your mind.
He was standing infront of you with his back facing you.
When you looked back you saw your home, your old family.
They were gathered together, smiling warmly at you.
Turning back around you took a closer look at Heisenberg.

"Heisenberg?" You asked, deciding to walk closer to him. When he turned around he immediately fell into your arms.
"Karl?" He turned his face towards you, he looked terrified.
"Help" he whispered. You tried breaking free from his grasp but he kept calling for help, trying to keep you close to him.

You woke up with a jolt, flashes of light came from the window.
Looking out you could see metal flying around like a tornado.
You decided to get up and investigate, what on earth was going on?

You noticed a tiny figure fighting a huge metal creature, you quickly recognized the figure as Ethan. You also heard Heisenberg's voice but where was he?
It soon dawned on you, he was the metal creature.

"No, no! This can't be the end for me! I... must... kill her" Heisenberg soon fell onto the ground.
You gasped in shock as you saw what was left of him crumbling into dust, only leaving a crystal.
"No" you whispered.
Ethan went towards Heisenberg and took the crystal, he soon turned around and walked towards you.
You quickly hid behind a boulder like you had done before, you needed the crystal.

You were quick to snatch it from his grasp before dissapearing into the darkness of the forest, you were an excellent thief before you began working for Heisenberg. A few lessons from your brother ended up saving youe life multiple times.

You put the crystal down on the table and sat down on a chair, you were resting your chin on your arms as you investigated it.
You remember Mother Miranda talking about resurrecting people, how, you did not know.
"There has to be a way, I can't lose you too" you cried, bringing the crystal into your arms.
This is what you wanted, this is what you had been yearning for. A life with... Karl.

You wrapped the crystal in a blanket and held it in your arms, quickly leaving the safety of your home behind you. You knew who would be able to help you.

A dome was created somewhere behind the dimitrescu castle, you couldn't exactly tell. You soon came upon Duke's wagon, he was leaving the village.

"Duke!" You called, catching up to him.
"Ah my dear Y/n, what do you have there?" He asked, eyeing the blanket.
You threw the blanket away and revealed Karl's remains.
"That'll fetch a pretty prize for you" he chuckled, handing you a pouch.
"No, no. I need you to save him" you said, Duke's face turned into shock before stopping the wagon.
"Why would you do that?"
"I need him" you slowly said, looking down at the crystal.

Duke looked down at you with pity, he knew love when he saw it.
"I can't promise you anything but I'll try my best, hop on" you climbed onto the wagon and sat down inside.
"Where are we going?" You asked curiously, Duke was quiet for a few seconds before
"Far enough from here, there won't be a village for much longer".
It felt like your heart dropped down to your stomach.
All you knew would be gone?

You put down the crystal on a pillow before you pulled your knees to your chest and looked back to the village through a tiny window.
Tears were streaming down your face yet no sound came out, you held your breath before closing your eyes.
You began feeling a headache and the salty taste on your lips. It became too much, you soon passed out from it all.

"My dear, wake up" said the Duke. You opened your eyes and groaned in pain, the headache was still there.
"I need you to leave us for awhile, what I'm about to do might be a bit overwhelming to you" he said.
Your curiosity grew but you knew better to listen to him. You decided to leave and sit a bit further away.

You could suddenly hear muffled screaming coming from inside the wagon. You immediately bolted towards the door and nearly pushed Duke with it.
"My job is done, it's up to you now" he said before going back to the front, the wagon then began moving again.

You looked towards the little sofa and saw him, in flesh and blood.
Sweat was pouring from his forhead and chest, you had to look away for a second to not get weak in the knees.

"Karl?" You whispered, tears began to form. He slowly opened his eyes and a smirk appeared on his face when he saw you.
"Glad to see me?" He chuckled, you didn't say anything before rushing into his arms.
"You... you died" you whispered, tears rolling down your cheeks.

"That wasn't pleasant I must say. You, you saved me" he muttered the last part, gazing into your eyes.

"I realized something when I held your remains, I want to be with you. You are the only thing in this world worth living for" you said, burying your face in the crook of his neck.

"Remember when you asked me what I will do when I'm free? Well there is one more thing, bring you with me" he said, placing his one hand around your waist while the other was placed on the back of your head.

He suddenly grunted in pain, you were quick to pull away from him. Investigating what caused the pain.
"I feel it inside" he grunted, trying to lift himself up.
You took some herbs from the shelves and prepared some tea.

"I'll take care of you" you said before planting a kiss on his forhead, before you could walk away he gripped your wrist and made you turn back around.
You fell, literally, and your lips accidentally met his.
You were about to pull away until you realized he had his hand on the back of your head and deepened the kiss.
Your knees gave up, which led to you laying on top of him.

"That's enough, I don't want any of that in my wagon"
