In this universe Miranda moved on from Eva and decided to care for the new family she had created.
"How did it go? Did you manage to take the baby?" Asked an excited Angie. Mother Miranda had planned to disguise herself as Mia to take their daughter Rose, but she had arrived empty handed with a saddened face instead.
Mother Miranda turned to you and motioned you to follow. What news had she for you?
When you two came out of earshot she did something you never could have imagined, she leaned against the wall as tears streamed down her face."I've been blinded by my desire to get Eva back, I've forgotten how to be human. I almost stole another mother's babe. Send Mia back to her family, erase her memories off this place" she quickly wiped her tears before standing up to inform the others.
Heisenberg looked on in confusion as he noticed you leaving, he became even more confused when he noticed Miranda's appereance.
He almost choked when he had gotten the news, could he finally leave?"It's going to be alright, I'm here to bring you home" you explained, Mia didn't trust you at all it seemed. You grew annoyed before taking her hand and manipulated her memories so it would match up with Miranda leaving their house.
It resulted in her quickly passing out in your arms.
You later on carried her to Duke's carriage and asked if he could give her a lift, he was happy to help. You soon returned to bring Miranda the good news, only to find her chatting with Moreau. "I'm sorry, could you forgive me?" She asked while holding out a little box. You recognized it as Eva's old musicbox, you knew it took a lot for Miranda to give it away. Whatever happened at the Winter's house had changed her, maybe it was for the best.
You decided to leave the two alone before returning home to Heisenberg. The oily and rusty smell hit you like a brick, you would never get used to it.You walked in before noticing a pile off bags in the corner "huh?" You mumbled. Arms wrapped around you and slowly swayed the two off you side to side, Heisenberg?
"Let's leave this fucked up place" he whispered, for years the two of you had planned a life together. But now, you felt like you didn't want to leave.
"I- I don't think I want to" you whispered, thoughts off the friendships you made with Alcina, Moreau and Donna. As hard as it is to believe, they had become a family to you."What was that?" He asked as he turned you around in his arms. You knew how much he wanted to leave so you didn't dare look up into his eyes.
"I said I don't want to leave" you said, clearer this time. The look on his face was off betrayal.
"You don't want to leave? What do you mean?" He took a few steps back and looked at you closely to see if you were joking, you weren't."Miranda has changed, maybe for the best. Either way, I can't leave her now. She's really willing to try to make things right" you said. Your persuasion to make him look at Miranda differently was useless, you could see it in his eyes.
Heisenberg ended up giving you a choice, Stay here with them or go with him. It had hurt you but you decided to stay.
Heisenberg had taken his bags and left without a word, you hurried out the door and watched him dissapear in the horizon.Running after him to give him a hug wouldn't be a good idea, you don't know how you didn't go with him in the first place. Probably the pity you felt for Miranda.
"Fuck" you whispered frustrated before making your way back inside. The days without Heisenberg had been horrible but you had the others to distract yourself. Donna and Angie would always teach you how to make the most gorgeous dresses, Alcina would include you in her winemaking, Moreau would let you choose which movie you were going to watch and The Duke would just be there and talk about anything and everything.
You were forever grateful. You had been Dimitrescu. Miranda had told you earlier that she wanted to do something with everyone, what exactly? You weren't sure.
"Do you have any idea what's going on, whatever happened to Mother Miranda's plans?" Asked a confused Alcina when she noticed your arrival. You had entered the lounge and found Alcina sitting there, having a puff.
"She has changed her mind, I don't know what happened back there but something got to her" you explained, taking a seat as well.Cassandra suddenly appeared having news, Miranda had summoned you and Alcina to the dining hall. Alcina stood up and began walking away, you and Cassandra tried to catch up with her giant steps without getting exhausted but that was nearly impossible. She soon just vanished into insects, having clearly given up.
You two soon reached the dining hall and saw a beautiful feast been set up. You saw your name on a small piece of paper between Duke and Daniela and on each and one of your plates was your favourite foods.
You gasped happily as you took a seat and smelled the delicious aroma. You noticed an available seat between Moreau and Donna, you could only guess it belonged to Heisenberg.
It took a moment but soon enough everyone was chatting amongst themselves, you began talking about mythology with Daniela and to your surprise she found it facinating.Heisenberg sat at an outside café with his hammer by his side, he was leaning his chin against the palm off his hand as he stared at the horizon, deep in thought. Freedom wasn't everything he desired, he wanted you.
"A life without Y/n is not a life I want" he muttered before standing up.After the dinner, Alcina offered to play some pieces on the piano. Which everyone agreed to. You had seen the piano just laying around and you never knew if anyone actually played it, you sat down on a chair beside the fire in anticipation. She sat down and began playing a song that wasn't familiar to you. But it somehow gave you a nostalgic feeling.
You closed your eyes and began humming along to the tunes Alcina played.
You soon began tapping your foot as words came to mind.On a cold winters evening
Through a forest a widow roamed
An aching heart, fully greaving
Tired & cold, something she couldn't control.
A gleaming light shines through the night
Once again feeling whole, no more fright.A movement by the door caught your eye, Heisenberg. You saw the small smile that decorated his face, your smile grew as you poured everything you had into the song. The others raised their glasses towards his arrival, except for Alcina. She gave him a short nod in greeting.
Heisenberg approached you and lifted you up a little so you could sit on his lap. When the song was finished he buried his face in the crook off your neck and swayed slowly to Duke playing the piano.
"What an ethereal voice, a voice of an angel" he whispered, you giggled a bit before wrapping your arms around his neck.
"Welcome home, love".
