Walking downstairs and headed to the living room, Michelle noticed her mother pacing back and forth, talking hushedly on the phone. She tilted her head in confusion and curiosity as she seemed very worried.
She had never seen her that worried before. To be fair, she never sees her most of the time since they leave her home alone most of the time.
Ignoring her, Michelle went to the kitchen to grab a glass of orange juice, gulping it down right then and there before washing her cup. She looked behind her and noticed that she was still on the phone, so she took her bag and started making her way out of there before she could say and do anything.
But alas, her luck is shitty and will always be shitty.
She stopped Michelle before she could even get her foot out the door. "Michelle, please come here, I need to tell you something."
Mitch sighed, not wanting to deal with her but also wanting to get whatever she had to say over with. "You do know I have school right? I have to go before I become late."
"It's your Abuelo, he had a brain aneurysm."

Michelle argued with her Mom for almost 2 hours, wanting to go to Spain to make sure that he is alright, but she told her that she had to stay and look after the house because she had school and she couldn't afford to miss a day.
Straightening her navy blue and white floral dress and making sure her heels were strapped on properly, she pulled her varsity jacket closer to herself as she walked down the hall.
She missed first and second period, so she plopped herself down beside Kurt at their AP English class before letting out a sigh and leaning into her chair. Michelle felt his eyes on her as he scribbled down notes. "Hey, you okay? We didn't see you earlier?"
"I'm fine." Michelle gave him a smile before bringing out her own notes, looking back at him when she noticed that he was still staring. "I'm fine Kurt, really."
Once she made sure that he was looking back at his own notes, Mitch let out a breath she didn't know she was holding and closed her eyes, wanting this week to end as she couldn't help but worry about her Abuelo.

Everyone noticed how Michelle wasn't in the mood, so they pretty much kept their business to themselves, because a pissed-off Michelle is not a fun Michelle.
Sitting in her usual seat in the choir room, she felt her eyebrows furrow when she noticed Finn was fidgety. She tilted her head in confusion and interest when he raised his hand. "Mr. Schue, I have something to say. Something happened to me, and I can't really get into it but it's shaken me to my core."
"Oh my god, he's coming out."
The off-hand comment Puck made, made Michelle look at Santana in thought.
What if Abuelo doesn't make it and Mitch ends up not being able to tell him about who she really is? He had always been the one to remind her that she could tell him anything. But, who really is she? Is she attracted to all girls? Is she also attracted to boys? Or is she just attracted to Santana?
She remembered the pastor talking about the sinfulness of the gays when they were at church once. The topic made her feel uncomfortable so she stopped attending, using ice skating as an excuse but she really just rescheduled the practice.
Would her grandparents even be accepting? The 4 of them are incredibly religious and if that's the view of the church that they attend then those must be their views as well, right? Otherwise, why would they keep attending that church?
