I have guilt

It's hard to remember that I am a person beyond my narrative

That I am still me without my monsters

People will know me like I know me someday

Who knows

I might be a writer

I could be

And I could love me

And I could forget this here and now

I'll remember

But it will sting less and less one day

And I'll be me again
