mingyu stared at his blinking caret, waiting for him to type something. he filled his text box with three dots; he had nothing to say. then, he shut his phone off. wonwoo had left him for his bedroom a little while ago, when soonyoung's blond emoji was the talk of the minute.

he probably gained more confidence after letting that whole problem off his chest and by leaving the room. in truth, mingyu really hated how that incident pushed them apart. he didn't know whether it was his fault that he allowed it to happen. he sure as hell wouldn't blame it on wonwoo- no, he couldn't.

he sighed and looked out the window at the bright sunlight. then he decided to get lunch.

night again. same old same old. seokmin and [JOSHUA] lay in their bed as they always have been after a day's work. seokmin had been facing the wall, but turned to keep joshua awake just for a little while more.

"shua-ya?" joshua hummed. seokmin threw his arm around him and snuggled up tight, "it's been a while since our last talk. i thought we should check in again?"

joshua sighed. he really didn't want to think about it. but if it would help him, then he'd do it. it must've been seokmin's calming voice or his reassuring words that lured him to spill once again. it didn't feel like he was going anywhere, truthfully. but seokmin's smile in the dark illuminated his thoughts and they said such truthful and beautiful melodies that joshua felt himself sink into them and float away. lee seokmin was truthfully his healing, helping him escape from the troubles in his head, helping him up whenever he fell to the ground.

lee seokmin was so beautiful. joshua would love to tell him how much he meant to him, but words failed him every time.
