3rd person pov

"I'm sorry Jis, I can't."
Those are the words that Lisa sent. It meant so much to Jisoo. She's in a middle of breakdown when Chaeyoung went to hug and comfort her on the ground. They're both kneeling, hugging, Jisoo is sobbing uncontrollably, and the other kept on patting and caressing her back saying shh.

Chaeyoung didn't exactly know what happened but seeing her unnie cry is a rare incident that she knows it is something that affected her so much.

After an hour, Jisoo was eventually tired. Her eyes are swollen and her breathing is uneven. She stood up and thanked Roseanne before locking herself in the bedroom.

She opened her inbox while laying in bed, she immediately sat up as she noticed the unread message after the last text she read earlier.

"I honestly didn't thought you'll fall for me. I was in love with you when we were in college. But I already moved on Jis. I thought you'll never see me the way I see you before."

Bullshit, she thought. "Then be mine again!" Jisoo cursed, rolling her eyes. Then another message came up

"I'm committed now, and I respect Jennie. I hope you do too, for me." Jisoo gulped, Lisa rarely ask for favor. And that made Jisoo even more bitter, the fact that Lisa loves someone other than her. She held her chest trying to stop the pinch in her heart.

She shook her head defeated. She smiled bitterly. If that's what Lisa wants, then that's how it is.

She put her phone away, not throwing it anymore. She once again fell into her bed and closed her eyes "god, why?" she whispered.

Lisa's pov

It's Monday morning, I texted Jennie a good morning and updated her that I'll be dropping by Jisoo's place before going to work. I told her about everything and she doesn't look any surprised at all.

I nervously knocked on the condo's door and fortunately it's her who opened it, we were both surprised for a moment then I pulled her immediately for a tight hug.

"I'm sorry" my tears started dripping.

She hugged me back and started patting me "It's okay Lis, it's not your fault that I fell in love with you" she chuckled and that made me relieved.

I pulled away not letting go of her hands. She removed the other one and started wiping my tears. "I'm not pushing you to love me back again. I just needed to let that off my chest" she chuckled again. "Just make sure that Jennie will take care of you or I'll take her place"

This time I'm the one who chuckled "Of course," I sniffed "you're my best friend." I bowed a little and continued "I have a favor Jis,"

Jisoo's eyes widen a little, her eyebrows raising "What is it?"

I looked at her eyes sincerely "I know you're a competitive person, but don't try it with Jennie. Our relationship is new and it's not impossible that she break us up"

Jisoo signed then averted her eyes "I can promise to respect your relationship, but I can't promise that one." she looked at me again "I'm a human Lis, I have feelings, so don't expect me to suddenly act all humble and kind to her or anything." she scoffed "You of all people know how much I hate faking"

I laughed lightly blocking my mouth with my free hand "Yes, you're brutally honest" I pulled Jisoo again for a hug and tightly closed my eyes "I love you Jis, always"

"I love you too monkey" she replied caressing my back. Suddenly a short cough broke our hug. Chaeyoung was behind Jisoo, smiling.

"Oh sorry, you're going now?" Jisoo turned around to ask the girl, still holding my right hand.

"Yes I-" I suddenly cut her off.

"You should hop with me then, I have my car today" I offered smiling at her. She shyly smiled back and nod as we bid our goodbye to Jisoo. I'm just glad Jisoo's not mad at me, I can't afford to lose her.

Me and Chaeyoung hoped in my car fastening our seatbelts when I noticed her struggling with hers, I immediately grabbed her hand and helped her buckle it with both of our hands.

"I'm sorry, this is rarely used so it's a little bit hard" I chuckled and tilted my head to face her. We both froze when my face almost touched hers. We're staring at each other, I didn't mean to slowly look down on her agape lips but it was too distracting.

After a couple of second I pulled away clearing my throat and started the engine "I'm sorry" I said looking ahead as the engine starts.

"Uhh, it's okay" she looked away as if looking for something outside. I do understand her since we're both blushing. I just hope she didn't noticed mine.

I started driving. Me and Chaeyoung are both dance instructors in a private company for young aspiring idols. She's known to be the hot and cute instructor in the company, I can say the same for Jennie, no wonder they're best friends. Small world, I thought.

I didn't expect Chaeyoung to be amusing, we're surprisingly not awkward at all. She keeps talking about our colleagues and of course Jennie. We never really got the chance to talk like this on work. She's too invested and focused on her job, almost passionate I can say, that I'm even afraid to disturb her. But now I can see her talkative and jolly side, I knew she'd be an interesting person. I just didn't get the chance before.

I parked my car and before going out, I watched her unbuckle her seatbelt and blushed again on the memory. I immediately went out of my car and waited for her outside. Damn, what's wrong with me?

"Thanks Lisa, sorry for the trouble" she chuckled as soon as she got out of my car.

"No problem, you're an entertaining passenger anyway." I giggled and offered an idea "We can actually go to work together everyday if you want to. Your place is on my way. So I can also see Jisoo every morning and pass the Saturday meetups" I laughed scratching my head. That means I can have date with Jennie on Saturdays.

"Is that so? Sure!" Her face lighten up "I can save some penny for a grande" she winked and we both laughed walking towards the elevator. I didn't realize that I was still smiling until I saw my reflection in the elevator. I usually come to work with straight and serious face but today is different. I got myself a cute clown. Cool.
