Twenty Four

It was a lonely day for Jennie, a day without catching up, eating with, or simply seeing Jisoo. She decided to be all around today so she could be distracted. Better be busy than to feel sad. When afternoon came, she went outside to shower the plants around Jisoo's usual spot. No one really sits in that place, as if it was already marked by someone. A beautiful lady named Kim Jisoo, as Jennie thought.

Some plants are already withered, she started plucking  the dead leaves one by one when a sudden idea came up. She stood up smiling, cleaning up herself, she turned around and went to the kitchen. She prepared the ingredients for pasta and toast, she can't wait to end the day.

When the clock hit by 6PM she bid goodbye to her employees. Finally deciding to leave earlier than usual. She grabbed the foods she prepared and a bottle of wine from the fridge. It wasn't full anymore since she usually drink that whenever she's stressed. But she doesn't feel that a lot lately ever since Jisoo and her started their thing.

Jennie shut the car door close as she looked up and smiled at the building. She excitedly went to Jisoo's unit, hoping that the girl would be the one opening for her. And fortunately, fate listened to her, the beautiful lady opened up the door.

"Surprise" Jennie was smiling from ear to ear. Jisoo chuckled and hugged the girl tightly. It was just one day but it felt like they have missed each other since forever.

She pulled away from Jennie and looked at the girl from head to toe "Missed me?" she said mischievously.

Jennie smiled and rolled her eyes "Full of ourselves aren't we miss Kim?" she placed her hand on Jisoo's forehead and neck then laughed "I knew you it. You weren't sick"

"Okay fine. You got me" Jisoo rolled her eyes "I was just—"

Jennie blocked Jisoo's lips with her index finger "Shh you're talking too much, come with me" she pulled the girl out.

"W-wait, where are we going? I'm still on my pajamas" stopping Jennie from pulling her.

"No one will know Jisoo" she laughed, pulling Jisoo again. The other girl shrugged and went with her anyway.

When Jennie started driving again, Jisoo kept asking Jennie about their destination but the other girl just kept smiling, ignoring her question.

"Wait, are you kidnapping me? Damn, Jennie Kim, this is some sexy plot" she laughed, making Jennie shook her head.

"Just trust me okay?" she gaze at Jisoo's hand, it was resting above her lap. She placed her hand above it as the other girl intertwined their fingers. Jisoo finally went silent. They were both smiling, just enjoying the cold breeze and warm company.

It was already 45 minutes of driving, the surroundings are getting darker and darker, and the views are becoming more trees and less lights. They were nearing the destination when Jennie started a topic.

"Jisoo," the girl turned to her with raised eyebrows "about yesterday..."

Jisoo chuckled shyly and turned her gaze away from Jennie "Please don't remind me of that. I'm just—"

"Jealous?" Jennie released a soft laugh.

Jisoo pouted but slowly nodded when she saw Jennie waiting.

Jennie chuckled before continuing "How about we make them real?" her voice low and raspy. They both looked at each other at the same time.

Jisoo wasn't sure if Jennie was thinking the same thing so she asked anyway "What real?"

The car went to a full stop. Finally arriving at the destination, Jisoo looked around. It was a huge empty field, more like an old school football field that was abandoned. It was dark and silent. The single light post wasn't even doing its job. She was curious on why Jennie would bring her in this isolated place? Her thoughts were interrupted when the car's sunroof opened, revealing the night sky.

Jisoo's mouth went wide open, this is the clearest view of the night sky she have ever seen in her whole life. She never thought she could see stars this bigger and clearer in real life. How did Jennie even discovered this place?

"How about we make them real?" Jisoo met Jennie's gaze, her face was still in awe. She leaned forward and pulled Jennie for a lingering kiss.

They broke the kiss and remained close to each, their foreheads touching, eyes still closed. Just breathing each other's warm air.

"Jennie,"

"Hmm?"

"How about we make US real instead?" Jisoo slowly opened her eyes, followed by the other girl.

Jennie chuckled with teary eyes, she smiled and nodded quickly. All her effort was worthwhile.

Jisoo chuckled as well before pulling away to kiss Jennie's forehead, cheeks, and neck, earning a squeal from the other girl. She laughed through Jennie's skin and continued attacking the girl "Hey, take it easy" Jennie slightly pushed Jisoo's head away to look a her "I'm already yours"

"I know" Jisoo smirked and continued attacking her.

"Jisoo— I— I've prepared us dinner" she managed to finish the sentence.

Jisoo lifted her head attentively "Really? Why didn't you say so? Come on let's eat" she was looking through Jennie's stuff already, finding the treasure.

The other girl shook her head. She grabbed the huge bag from the backseat and pulled the foods out. She saw the joy in Jisoo's eyes and chuckled "You sure love my cooking more than me huh" she mumbled while setting the foods above the mounted car tray.

Jisoo stopped "Of course I want to finish this quickly," she gazed up to Jennie and smirked "because I'm excited for the dessert"

Jennie fought herself to smile, she rolled her eyes and went back to preparing "Whatever Jisoo, you're full of words"

"Are you challenging me? Jennie Kim?" she narrowed her eyes and leaned closer to Jennie. She shoved the foods aside with her arm and reached for Jennie's cheek, leaning closer and closer "Because I'm up for that" she whispered in low husky voice.

Jennie smiled and quickly pulled Jisoo's nape, colliding their lips together hungrily. The food can wait, but the romantic moment under the moonlight couldn't.
