**Max's POV**
That empty feeling I had experienced the day I came to terms with what I had thought was Win's death is now back and stronger than ever.
I don't regret punching my father, if anything I kind of with I could do it again. It must have been just 10 minutes of silence the minute Knock left with that terrible man and standing here staring at the door with nothing to say was a lot more awkward than I had thought it was going to be.
Evelyn: She was in the kitchen again with the water running as I slowly turn around to face her. "What did you want to ask me?"
Max: "Huh?"
Evelyn: She finished peeling and cutting everything before rinsing everything off with her small hands. "Our father tends to think I'm this innocent girl that needs protecting. I've been trapped in this place all my life, curiosity made me research many things. By the look on your face earlier I could tell that you had no idea who I was until getting here right?"
Max: Fuck... "Look I bet your a kind person and I feel bad for what o-our father did to you but your right I wasn't aware of your existence until 4 or 5 hours ago. I just want to get my brother back whether he can remember me or not..."
Evelyn: She was silent as she turns on the stove and starts to cook before I could spot a layer of sadness in her eyes as her hands tremble trying to carry the pan. "Do you think there will ever be room in your heart to accept me as a part of your family?"
Max: I didn't want to lie to her anymore so I decided to tell her the truth. "I don't know, this entire day has been filled with information that I don't fully know how to process so I'm trying to focus on one thing and that's Win. Maybe after all of this is over and I no longer feel like my family is in danger than we can talk again but for now I don't know."
Evelyn: I watched as she started to cry and that made me feel even worse, Hurting a strangers feelings wasn't something I wanted to do today. She starts to laugh as she tries to wipe away her never ending tears. "I'm sorry, I knew if I ever got a chance to actually talk to you this could be a very big possibility I just had hope that maybe it could be different." With one last wipe with the sleeve of her dress she gives me a sad smile as her hands continue to shake. "Can you atleast do me two favors?"
I don't like the sound of that, I also don't like that she keeps shaking...
Max: "What kind of favors?"
Evelyn: The sound of vegetables sizzling in the pan filled my ears as she stares blankly into the pan before whispering. "Please kill M-mike... I know that you want to find your brother but I..." She slowly turned around and I could see the pure hate in her eyes. "I need to know that he's dead..."
Max: The thought of what she was asking was already on my list of things to do because of everything that man did to our family but I want to know why she seems so intent on him dying. He had to have been one of the only people she's known her entire life. "Why?"
Evelyn: I think her anger had triggered her change because her eyes started to shine a bright blue as she slowly starts to pull the string on her dress and turn around until the back was wide open and the dress was hanging on her hips. "He is not a kind man..."
Littering her entire back were scars that looked like words, terribly disgusting words...
Unloved.
Unwanted.
Vermin.
Abandoned.
Worthless.
Max: Barely a whisper as I take a step forward with a hand stretched out toward the scars without thinking. "How is that even possible?"
