Lilly and Nat were walking through the park, after Shane had to leave for date night with his boyfriend. The two girls were strolling through the oak tree shaded stoney pathway.

"Hey so I told Steve to ask James, but that mans got a mind like a goldfish when he's in 'big boss man' mode" Nat mocking Steve's 'serious working' tone, Lilly laughing at her mockery.

"James doesn't forget anything, his minds as sharp as a pin it's pretty intense. Especially when I say I'll do something and forget all about it until he says something" Lilly's response getting a laugh from Nat as they continued down the shaded path.

"So, Steve and I were planning a two week trip to Italy, if you and James wanted to tag along?" Nat asked looking at Lilly's face to read where her answer was going.

"Well after the show me and you will have a few months free, it's just Steve and James that will need to get the time off but I'll see what he says about the whole thing and I'll let you know" Lilly smiled at Nat as the two girls walked towards Steve and James office building.

Lilly knew that this huge sleek building was where James worked but she had never truly examined this grand structure before. Lilly looked up at the inky, glass from top to bottom double towers in front of the of her emerald doe-eyes.

Lilly couldn't help but feel intimidated at she craned her neck almost completely back to barely catch a glimpse of the peak. Nat grabbed Lilly's hand and lugged her into the glass revolving doors.

Lilly traced after Nat like a lost puppy- obviously not knowing where she was going. The two stood there in the elevator, hand in hand as it traveled all the way to the top floor. As the steel doors parted, Lilly saw a long corridor with half a dozen doors leading to all sorts of offices and meeting rooms.

Nat once again hauled Lilly down the hallway to the boys main meeting room, looking through the glass window on the hard wood, oak door to see if any clients were present. Lilly had never been in this building before but it was clear Nat had been, numerous times before this.

When the two saw there was only James and Steve in the room swinging around on there chairs, deep in conversation. Nat turned to Lilly with a smile on her face, bursting open the door and dragging Lilly in the door behind her.

The two men Swung there chairs towards the door to spot who interrupted there 'childhood friends' chat. When James saw Lilly's petit frame standing in his doorway, that must have been as tall as two Lilly's built up. James couldn't halt the uncontrollable smile that crept up on his features, at just the sight of Lilly.

He had it bad.

God he's so in love with her.

Lilly smiled like a mad woman when James' eyes met her's, quickly looking down at the floor to conceal her clearly obvious blushing scarlet cheeks.

"There they are now" Steve's booming voice interrupting Lilly and James' loving eye contact.

"Oh before I forget did you ask James about the thing?" Nat pressing Steve with a stern tone, but Steve looked clueless.

He was lost, his mind was blank.

Nat Widened her eyes at him basically saying 'well' but once again Steve just stared at her blinking cluelessly. Nat rolled her eyes a signed in annoyance.

"You have the mind of a goldfish Rogers" Nat stated throwing Steve daggers with her eyes, James and Lilly snickering behind Nat and Steve.

"Since I'm the only one with a brain at this moment, James would you and Lilly be able to come with me and Steve t-" Steve cutting Nat off mind sentence.

"Steve and I" he corrected her, Nat turned her whole body towards Steve, hands on her hips with looks that could freeze all hell over.

"Oh shit, babe if looks could kill I'd be six feet under" Steve joked, but didn't get any reaction from Nat, she stood like a statue glaring at Steve.

"Natasha, don't pay any attention to him, he's always been a punk" James joked, standing up and walking over to where Lilly was standing, getting an eye roll from Steve and Nat finally turning back around.

"You should just ignore him that's what I do" James added wrapping his arms around Lilly's waits, again getting an eye roll from Steve.

"Thanks buddy, really thank you" Steve breaths out swinging in his chair again.

"Hey did you hear something" James mimicking with his hand to his ear. Lilly and Nat snickering as Steve just stared at James.

"Ha ha ha you're so funny Bucky" Steve fake laughing in a sarcastic tone. Lilly furrowed her brows in confusion at the name Bucky.

Who the hell is Bucky?

"Anyways do you and Lilly want to go to Italy in about two weeks with steveee and I" Nat finally asks, emphasising the 'Steve and I' part.

"Hey punk, you never asked for time off" James stated looking over at Steve.

"Yeah I know, but I knew you'd let me because you love me so much" Steve threw James a little smile.

"Eh I don't have a problem with tagging along, Lillian?" James responded looking down at Lilly for her answer.

"I mean I won't have anything to do after next week is over" Lilly states about there showing being over in a week.

"Well then I guess we're having a group holiday" Nat squeals as she grabs Lilly from James arms and hugs her suddenly, causing Lilly to be shaken like a rag doll.

James laughed at his doll being shaken and thrown around as Nat hugged her tightly.

"Oh my god, you know what this means?" Nat gasped, holding Lilly out at arms length by the shoulders.

"What?" Lilly asked, scared that this was going where she thought it was going.

"Shopping babe and lots of it" Nat yelled as she smirked at Lilly and shook her shoulders a bit.

Lilly threw her head back and sighed at the thought of Nat dragging her around every shop she could find. Lilly likes shopping as much as the next guy, but with Natasha? Absolutely not, she hated it. The woman could go into the same shop twice and still come out with a bag each time. Nat spends so much money on clothes she definitely doesn't need while Lilly would only buy clothes she needs, when she needs them.

This was going to be hell and they're not even gone yet.
