You were writing in Professor Snape's class, as was everyone.

"This is mad. At this rate we'll be the only ones in our year without dates. Oi y/n you alright it looks like you've been crying."

Professor Snape walks past and slaps Ron over the head.

"I'm fine thank you Ron"

He just nodded. But Harry's eyes lingered a bit

"Well, us and Neville!"

"But then again he can take himself."

"It might interest you to know that Neville's already got someone."

Ron gasps.

"Now I'm really depressed."

You laughed Fred hands Ron a note, it reads "GET A MOVE ON OR ALL THE GOOD ONES WILL HAVE GONE!".

" Well y/n, Hermione, you're both girls."

" Oh well spotted."

You continued writing but still listening

" Come on. It's one thing for a bloke to show up alone. For a girl it's just sad."

"Wow that hurts Ron." You sarcastically said

" I won't be going alone because believe it or not someone's asked me. And I said yes."

Hermione seemed to be ofended and shy packed her things and walked towards Professor Snape handing him the notebook

"Bloody hell. So you going with Cedric or what?" Asked Ron

You let out a soft sigh,

"I do have a date if that's what your asking."

"Really? But I heard you and Cedric broke up-"

"Then why ask Ron!" You whispered shouted

You stood up, and gave your notebook to Professor Snape, and grabbed your things and left.

"Bloody hell whats wrong with them."

Harry was wondering, if you really did break up with Cedric.

"Look. We've just got to grit our teeth and do it. Tonight when we get back to the common room, we'll both have partners. Agreed?"

"Agreed."

Professor Snape pulled his sleeves up, and placed them his hands on the back of their heads and pushed as they can focus on your paper.

*time skip*

Ron is being helped into the room, he looks shaky. You set him on the bed along with Ginny

"What happened to you?"

" He just asked Fleur Delacour out."

"What?" Asked Hermione in Disbelief

"What did she say?"

" No of course."

Ron shakes his head.

"She said yes??"

" Don't be silly."

"There she was walking by. You know I like it when they walk. I couldn't help it, it just sort of slipped out."

"Actually he sort of screamed at her, it was a bit frightening." You said

"What did you do then?"

"What else? I ran for it. I'm not cut out for this Harry. I don't know what got into me."

The Patil twins walk past them
