Chapter 10

You and Cedric emerge, the crowd cheers. Viktor and Hermione next, the crows chants 'Krum, Krum, Krum'. The Beauxbatons girls look worried. You slicked your hair back and see Cedric smiling at the cheering crowd. You were freezing, you then swam back to the platform when the girls helped you out, and you helped Cedric.

"Are you alright ?" He asked

"I'm fine- I never thought I was gonna be part of the tournament."

Ron and the girl come up, they are coughing but safe. They're helped out of the water by a girl from Beauxbatons. You gave Ron a towel as he was shivering, as were you, you looked down the water unable to see Harry. You were getting nervous.

"Whats happening !" You exclaimed

Underwater Harry casts a spell which propels him towards the surface, he flies out and lands on the decking where the crowd are, he fell on top of you and you grunted in pain. He coughed, and removed himself and you were helping him

"Harry!"

"Get him another towel."

You took yours off and placed it over Harry. You then hugged him. You pulled away and he was just shivering.

"I want all the judges over here now."

"You saved her, even though she wasn't yours to save. My little sister!"

Fleur kisses Harry on the face. Your eyes widen in

" Thank you! And you..."

Fleur looks to Ron.

"You helped!"

" Well...yeah...a bit.

Fleur kisses him too, hermione was a bit shocked

"Merci."

Hermione comes up to Harry with a towel.

" Harry!"

"Hermione."

" Are you alright? You must be freezing! Personally I think you behaved admirably."

Hermione kisses Harry on the head.

" I finished last Hermione."

" Next to last."

"Attention! Attention! The winner is...Mr. Diggory!"

Cedric and his friends cheer, Cedric lifted you up. He was happy, when he set you down he had kissed you. The crowd went wild once again, cheering. You pushed Cedric back,

"Jesus Cedric !"

"For showing unique command of the bubblehead shark. The way I see it, Mr. Potter would have finished first had it not been for his determination to rescue not only Mr. Weasly but the others as well. We've agreed to award him second place! For outstanding moral fibre."

You were mad at him, he did that just for more fame. You pushed past him rolling your eyes and went over to Harry.

"Are you-"

"No harry. We're still having our break up." You said

Mr. Crouch is waiting for Harry,

"Congratulations Potter, fine achievement. Well done boy. I'm sorry we haven't spoken, after all your story is one I've heard many times. Quite remarkable. Tragic of course, to lose one's family. Never whole again are we? Still, life goes on. And here we stand. I'm sure your parents would be very proud today Potter. As for you Grindelwald ive heard many great things from Dumbledore-"

Professor Moody approaches you three.

"Bartimus! Not trying to lure Potter into one of the ministry's summer internships are we? Last boy who went into the department of ministries never came out!"

You noticed Professor Moody, do a weird thing with his tongue, and Mr. Crouch walked away without speaking, which you thought that was weird

" And they say I'm mad" said Professor Moody

*time skip*

You, Hermione, Ron, and Harry were walking with Hagrid. You were walking ahead

"Thank you for the creatures y/n! They love it here! "Smiled Hagrid

You smiled, you were trying to catch the fairies as they were flying around you. Harry was admiring you.

"Look how pretty-"

Harry was smiling

"Yeah beautiful-"

You stumbled accidentally on the dirt.

"Are you alright y/n-"

"Yes! Thank you Harry"

"So I remember, I remember when I first met you all. Biggest bunch of misfits I've ever set eyes on. Always reminded me of myself a little. And here we all are, four years later."

" We're still misfits."

"Maybe. But we've all got each other, and Harry of course. Soon to be! The youngest! Tri-Wizard champion there's ever been! Hooray!"

You saw another fairy,

"I've got it!"

You went ahead once again,

"I've got it- aah!"

You tripped over something, but it didn't feel like a branch so you look and you screamed. Harry holds his head in pain. Everyone went your aid only to see Mr. Crouch dead.

"Mr. Crouch?"

Harry helped you up.

*time skip*

You were underneath a beautiful tree, reading another book of charms, that's when you felt someone sitting next. Thinking it was Harry you smiled

"Y/n?"

You looked to your right to see Cedric.

"I'm sorry y/n."

You just stared at him.

"I wanted to apologize. I've been acting like a arse and you don't deserve it. I actually really do like you. I want something for us."

It was hurting you, you really wanted something with Cedric, but you were confused. Your feelings needed to be checked out before anything. He grabbed your hand

"Cedric-"

"Don't answer not yet. After the tournament, I'll make it up. I have a surprise waiting for you." He smiled

You smile softly at him, he grabbed your hand and kissed your cheek.

"I see how you are with Potter and I don't to take that away or make you chose. But trust me after the tournament we will make it work."

He stood up and left. You were shocked, this has never happened to you before. You immediately began to write a letter to Lupin. You've told him everything that has been going on this year. You were hoping that the coming break youd buy an owl and a little pet.
