Felix visibly panics and experiences a significantly strong feeling of deja vu.

"I... I'm so sorry, um, I have a b-boyfriend."

The man in front of the barista frowns.

"Come on, give me a chance."

"N-no, I really do," Felix gulps, slightly stepping back against the wooden table.

The man raises his eyebrow, not believing him, but not entirely hostile at the same time.

"What's his name?"

Before the nervous boy can even respond, there's a voice behind both of them.

"Hi. I'm Christopher. Is there anything I can do for you?"

Felix peeks to the side to see his boyfriend, but it isn't his boyfriend. His features are firm and cold, and he looks... scary.

Felix could definitely be terrified of him if he didn't know how much of a soft and warm person he is.

The other man, taking the hint, makes a move to leave the cafe.

"Unless you can give me your boyfriend..." he mumbles.

"Excuse me?"

"Nothin', nothin'."

And he's gone, almost stumbling out the doorway.

Chan looks at Felix with his hands in his pockets, and the younger can't help but giggle at what happened.

"Hihi." Felix hugs Chan and looks up at him a snicker, pointing a finger to his chest.

"You looked like you were gonna start World War Four~"

Chan rolls his eyes and looks away, nonverbally denying the accusation. Even though they both know it was true, Felix decides to let it slide.

Felix lightly shakes Chan around for a moment, signaling for him to hug him. The older complies with a sigh, wrapping his own arms around Felix.

"Hihi."

"Who was that guy?"

Felix gives a breathy laugh.

"I dunno. He came in and asked for my number."

"Unbelievable," Chan scoffs.

Felix laughs again, a little more loudly this time.

"Isn't that what you did?"

"Well, no, that was different."

"Uh, no? You straight up asked me for my number. It was so dumb."

"And yet you fell so hard for me," Chan teases with a wink.

Felix suddenly feels so unbelievably tiny in Chan's arms.

"I... I did not."

"Trust me, you did."

"Let's talk about how mad you were instead."

"I wasn't mad. I don't get "mad"."

Chan makes the air quotes with his fingers as Felix makes his lips into one flat line to display his inability to process Chan's bullshit.

"You literally looked ready to yell-"

"Did not."

Suddenly Felix clings to Chan and looks over at the doors.
