"This is mad. At this rate we'll be the only ones in our year without dates." Ron whispered to harry

Severus Snape walks past and slaps Ron over the head.

"Well, us and Neville!" Ron said

"But then again he can take himself."

"It might interest you to know that Neville's already got someone." Hermione said she's so annoyed at Ron

Ron gasps.

"Now I'm really depressed."

Fred hands Ron a note, it reads "GET A MOVE ON OR ALL THE GOOD ONES WILL HAVE GONE!".

"Well Hermione, you're a girl."

"Oh well spotted."

"Come on. It's one thing for a bloke to show up alone. For a girl it's just sad."

"I won't be going alone because believe it or not someone's asked me. And I said yes."

"Bloody hell."

"Idiot!" Athena said and pushed Ron hard

Hermione storms off while Erin followed her

"Look. We've just got to grit our teeth and do it. Tonight when we get back to the common room, we'll both have partners. Agreed?"

"Agreed."

Harry is walking up some steps. He reaches the top and bumps into Cho who has come around the corner.

"Harry!"

"Cho!"

"Watch yourself on the stairs, it's a bit icey at the top."

"Ok thanks. Cho?"

"Yes?"

"Um. I just wondered if maybe you wanted to go to the ball with me?" Harry mumbles it

"Sorry? I didn't catch that."

"Um. I was just wondering if maybe you wanted to go to the ball with me."

"Oh. Um. Harry I'm sorry but someone's already asked me. And well I've said I'll go with him."

"Ok. Great. Fine. No problem. Good."

"Harry I really am sorry."

Erin heard that Harry asked Cho, she is so upset.

"I can't believe him! I'm his girlfriend and he asked Cho rather asking me!"

"Go with someone else, harry is a jerk."

"Erin I heard what harry did, I was wondering if you want to be my date for the ball?" Draco asked

"That's more better, thank you for asking of course I would love to."

Hermione gave her a thumbs up she laughs at her.

"So you're my date for the ball right? I'll pick you up every freetime for the dance practice."

"That's brilliant. Sure." Erin said

Ron is being helped into the room, he looks shaky. Ginny and Erin are laughing at Ron

"What happened to you?" Harry asked

"He just asked Fleur Delacour out." Katie said

"What?" Hermione is so shocked

"What did she say?" Harry asked he's so curious

"No of course." Hermione said that made Erin laughs more

Ron shakes his head.

"She said yes??" Hermione asked with sarcasm

"Don't be silly."

"There she was walking by. You know I like it when they walk. I couldn't help it, it just sort of slipped out."

"Actually he sort of screamed at her, it was a bit frightening."

"What did you do then?"

"What else? I ran for it. I'm not cut out for this Harry. I don't know what got into me."

The Patil twins walk past.

"Hi Harry."

"Hey!"

"Harry can't find a partner and go for a Patil twins haha, that's what you get for not asking me, I'm your girlfriend idiot."

"And you decided to go with Malfoy."

"Because you asked Cho you dimwit!"
