"Brooke answer this damn door" I heard Karter yell as he banged on my door causing me to roll my eyes and ignore him.
"Leave Karter you suppose to been gone" I yelled back.
"BROOKE AMOUR WALKER OPEN THIS SHIT UP" he yelled out my government causing me to scrunch my face up.

I have neighbors-
"The fuck do you want man" I said swinging the door open as he pushed pass me causing me to look at the door then back at him before closing it.
"Yo baby daddy just got shot, and it was on the fucking news, you should probably go see him" he said shocking me.

"Oh" I responded locking the door as he looked at me like I was crazy.
"OH? Visit him that man fighting for his life, I understand he put you through a lot of shit, but just do this for the twins" he said making shake my head.

We were laying down on his bed and talking about life...
"Then why do you do it" I asked as tears fell from my eyes as I felt him breathe on my neck.
"It's because I love you" he answered as I shook my head in denial.
If he loved me he wouldn't allow for me to get rape, he wouldn't beat on me everyday or tell me how I'm not worth shit.
"You don't Von, stop lying to yourself" I whispered as he wiped my tears as more came before turning me around so that I was facing him now as we layed under the covers.
