"Is this it...?"the brunette whispered to herself, crossing the doorway.

The place was very cozy, colourful and bright, with nets of fairy light hanging from the ceiling.
Original...

"Ehy, the cat-girl! Nice to see you here! Are you in the mood for one of Spinny's cappuccinos?" The familiar woman asked from behind the counter.

How she hated Adora's friends.
And these were her bosses too.

"Netossa...yeah, a cappuccino would be great. May you add some cocoa on top of it?" Catra ordered with the hint of a smile.

She must be nice to them.

"Sure thing! Do you want a slice of pie too? It's on us, this time. You will love it, it's really almost as good as Razz does it! It took forever to learn how recreate her receipt faithfully!" The woman told her.

Madame Razz, the woman who took Adora away from her.
Her new family.
The one who changed their lives.

Someone Adora loves.

"I would rather have a brioche, if you don't mind." Catra replied, trying to sound as casual as possible.
"Yeah, I get it: once you have tried the original, it's never the same..." Netossa said jokingly.
The brunette didn't really answered, she just slightly nodded, with a monnalisa smile, and looked away.
"I go call Spinny, I'm sure she wants to say hi." The woman chuckled, placing the brioche in front of her and then walked away.
Catra had time to bite it a couple of time, before the other owner of the bar paced toward her with the hugest smile.
"Oh, dear! I'm so happy you came! We had such a nice time last weekend!" The Lavander woman greeted her.
"The food was ok." She agreed.
"I made your cappuccino! And don't worry, it's on us the whole breakfast! I'm so glad Adora found someone good to her, especially after the Huntara thing..." Spinnerella cheered, handing her the cup of coffee.
"Thank you...but who is Huntara?" Catra had to ask.
The woman immediately turned pale and her eyes widened.
"Oh, I guess i misspoke..." she muttered embarrassed.
The brunette frowned and looked at her quizzingly, impatiently demanding for an answer.
"Oh, well, ok...you see, some months ago Adora started hanging out with this girl from the gym, Huntara. She obviously had a soft spot for her, even tho she is...you know...Adora. Anyways, I'm not sure what happened between the two of them, but she was very hurt by the whole situation and it seems like this girl took advantage of her kindness." Spinnerella told her.
Catra grimaced elaborating the new informations.

It was no surprise that the blondie had let someone exploit her while they were apart: she could be such a fool, so naive!
How many times Catra had to line the boundaries when someone understood that she would have tried to please them as much as she could?
Obviously Adora never learnt to read people.

But they were grown up now, it wasn't her duty to protect her anymore.

"Thank you for telling me." The latina smiled to her.
"You are always welcomed here and if you win over Tossa's business mindset, you could spend time here even if you don't order. It's a little thing we do for friends. But no discounts!" Spinnerella said, winking to her, before walking away.

Too nice.
