Later on in the week.
After the argument between Scaramouche and Y/N, they had avoided each other in whatever way they could. You wouldn't find them close to each other, even if they didn't even intend on talking. Both of them were stubborn, so it would take a miracle for the two to make up.
What was worse, was that they were usually partners in crime. Everyone knew that when you saw one of them, the other was bound to be close. So it wasn't shocking when everyone was a little surprised for them to be so distanced.
Signora couldn't do anything. Even if she wanted to. Both of her stubborn comrades didn't want to interact with each other. In the state they were in, it wouldn't have ended well anyways. So instead she would just sit back and observe.
Nobody dared to question nor Balladeer or Childe at the moment though. Fearful that they may get lashed out on. Or maybe punched. Word spread quickly that Y/N had knocked two Fatui out cold a few days ago, so obviously nobody wants to suffer the same fate.
While everyone had been running around doing whatever task they had to accomplish, Y/N was planning. And she was planning quickly.
The much needed alone time had helped with that. She worked things in her head, and managed to come up with something pretty simple. She would have to show her majesty what she means. Although, it was risky.
The information about the 'traitors' within the ranks was nothing but nonsense. It seems that the group had been in close contact with the Mondstadt knights so they could work out whatever they had been trying to do.
However, the Tsaritsa disliked Mondstadt due to Barbatos. So she told them to immediately cut ties and stop acting diplomatic. If they had stopped when asked, she wouldn't have been so pissed about it.
The plan was simple. In Y/N's eyes. She would take the group into her own team and work with them. Making sure that they can continue their objective. She wants the Tsaritsa to understand they're doing it for her benefit and there's no reason to be worried over it.
If it had been that simple, they wouldn't have ended up getting their whole ranked switch, so they rarely ever come back home.
Elsewhere...
Signora had seen the shorter man pacing around. It was depressing to see him so quiet. But on the other hand, when he starts talking it's usually never anything nice. Still, she knows that not having his 'other half' was starting to take a toll on him even if he dared not to show it.
He was conversing with one of his Vanguards. Perhaps about the other two that Y/N knocked clean to the ground.
"Well what is their status?" Scaramouche impatiently asked the taller fatui.
