It's a brand new morning for Sarah. She was stretching her arms while lying on her bed when she took a glimpse at the clock placed in her bedside table.
7:30 a.m.
She reached for her cellphone and dialed a number.
*ring*ring*ring*
"Sarah! Happy Anniversary!" greeted Anne.
"Happy 15th anniversary!"Sarah answered.
"OMG! 15 years na tayong best friends!" said Anne.
"I know. Oh pano yung date natin?" Sarah questioned.
"Well, I'll see you sa tambayan natin. Alam mo na dadalhin mo diba? Our favorites."
Anne wanted to make sure Sarah hasn't forgotten a thing.
"Yeah of course. My gosh naman Annie, we've been doing this for like the nth time na. Memorize ko na."
Sarah answered while grinning.
"Eh you know me naman, I want our anniversaries to be perfect."
"It will be, sis. Alright, I'll see you at 9. Same place. Love you!"
"Love you more. Mwah mwah mwah!"
Anne blew kisses on the phone before ending the call.
Five minutes after calling Anne, Sarah's phone was ringing.
She answered it immediately upon seeing Gerald's name.
"Good morning!" she cheerfully greeted.
"Hi, sweet angel. Tuloy kayo ni Anne today?"
Gerald was making lambing while asking.
"Yes po." Sarah was talking like a baby.
"Oh okay. Ingat ha. You want me to give you a ride?"
"Gerald, mula nang naging close tayo naging personal driver na kita. Hindi ko alam kung marunong pa ba ako mag drive sa ginagawa mo eh."
"Hehehe! Sorry. Gusto ko lang kasi masigurado safety mo at syempre ayaw kitang mapagod."
"Hmmmn? Ang sabihin mo, gusto mo lang ako makasama." she playfully told him.
"That too, of course."
"Ay naku, Anne won't allow. This day lang naman pinapakiusap niya eh. Just the both of us."
"Okay. Syempre I don't want to sound like a possessive boyfriend dahil I'm not yet a boyfriend eh hehehe!"
"Hahaha at pag boyfriend na pwede na?"
"Don't worry I won't be."
"Hahaha good boy baby boy! Sige maliligo na ako. Bye."
Gerald was saddened. "Sarah baby, promise me you will take good care of yourself and give me a beep when you need help okay?"
"Ano ba tingin mo sakin tatanga tanga at kailangan mo ako i-baby?"
Sarah pretended to be mad but she's not.
"Ay hindi hindi.. Sorry na. Sige di na kita iistorbohin. I'll talk to you pag pwede na. Ingat."
Then he ended the call.
Sarah just laughed at his reaction.
