Nasa coffee shop sila, nakaupo while smoking.
"Hoy, I saw the picture noh?"
"Basta wala nga."
"Whatever Sarah! Pero infair naman to Anderson, gwapo ha and O my effin goodness.. ang ganda ng katawan. Dapat pinikot mo na."
Napaisip si Sarah.
"Oo nga noh? Bat kaya di ko naisip yun?"
*Ring*ring*ring*
She checked her phone.
Nakiusyoso si Anne.
"Uuuy.." Anne teased when she saw Gerald's name.
"Heh!" She rolled her eyes and answered the call.
"Hi freak."
Gerald sighed. "Can you do me a favor?"
Sarah raised her brow.
"Depende. Ano ba yun?"
She looked at Anne who is listening intently at their conversation.
"My mom wants to meet and personally thank you."
"No need na for that, Gerald."
"She insists."
"Alright, then.. basta wag sya magugulat sakin ah. Baka atakihin sa puso nanay mo."
"No. Di sila ganun."
"Okay. Kailan at saan?"
"This Sunday 10 a.m. sa church then after that, we'll have lunch together."
"Ano!? Hindi naman siguro nila tayo pipiliting ikasal diba!?"
"Hindi Sarah. Ganyan lang talaga ang parents ko. Please pagbigyan mo na sila. I can't say 'no' to them after the troubles I caused them that night."
Sarah let out a deep sigh.
"Church talaga? Hindi ba ako masusunog dun?"
"Hahaha! You're funny. We won't hurt you. Ang gagawin mo lang naman ay makinig eh."
"Okay freak, whatever. Bye."
Sarah ended the call.
Anne is grinning at her.
"What!?"
"Gut feel ko lang Sars ah. Parang.. bagay kayo. Parang sya ang katapat mo."
"Katapat your face! Haha! You're being delusional, Anne. After what happened with Rayver, I don't think I'll be able to fall in love again. Much more to someone like Gerald, or if so, hindi ako type nun."
"THE Sarah G hindi type? Since when? Walang lalakeng hihindi sayo."
"Not Gerald, sis. He is different. He's too good to be true."
