Mom and I went inside Vanilla cupcake.
"The planner's with Anne. They'll be here in five minutes."
Mommy said while looking at her phone
We sat on a dainty table near the windows
"You're all smiles." I commented because she looked more excited than I am
"Hahaha! Well my daughter's getting married in a month. Who wouldn't be excited?"
I creased my forehead.
"Don't you think it's a fuss?"
"Fuss? Oh come on, darling. You have Anne, me and .... The ... pla..planner! Your wedding would just seem as if pinaghandaan siya for a year. Trust me."
She pinched my cheek.
"Hi! I'm here!"
Anne greeted with the planner following her.
The planner looks weird though, she's wearing huge glasses and a huge hat.
"Since you're getting married in a month, I brought someone who is OC enough to organize everything perfectly..."
"Oh you mean the planner. Hi I'm..."
I offered my hand but I was surprised when I saw the planner's smile
She looks familiar...
"Hahaha!"
the planner laughed out loud and took of the hat and the glasses
"Hello cuzzo!"
she shrieked
"Oh my gosh! Kaycee!"
I screamed and hugged her real tight
"When did you arrive?"
I questioned her
"Just this morning, dear... Anne fetched me from the airport."
Her British accent is very apparent
"Awwww... Thanks! I really really need you. I was already thinking of asking for your help but I know you're busy with your clothing line and..."
"Shh! I wouldn't miss this for the world. Ikaw talaga... Buti na lang sinabihan ako ni Anne."
We're now sitting and chatting together
"So, where's your fiancée?"
KC asked
"He's not around. He promised kasi to be with his father today. Dapat bukas pa to diba?"
I asked
"Actually... Hihihi! Wala namang planner eh. It was just me, Sars. Just so isipin mong may nakuha na akong planner. But the truth is I was just waiting for KC to arrive here in the Philippines."
Anne said
"Why are you so good in surprises?!"
I am amazed with my best friend's ability to bolt from the blue
"So, do you think we can make it, Kayce?"
My mom asked
"Of course tita. We're like the dream team!"
KC answered and the three of us laughed
"Actually..." KC started
"I already made a step-by-step plan"
