015. Drugged.

THE PAIR of best friends laugh, the Russian soldier joining in along with the doctor but they stop suddenly when alarms went off, looking towards the door right away. Steve looks back at the Russian man and Valerie glanced over at the Russian woman who had been previously been sitting down. The man and woman leave the room in a rushed manner, leaving the doctor behind.

Not long after, Dustin comes running into the room with Erica and Robin behind. He yells as he electrocuted the doctor. "Hey! Henderson!" Steve says excitedly as Valerie smiled widely at Erica and Robin, the two girls trying to help her out. "That's crazy, I was just talking about you." Steve says as Robin looks at Val.

"Are you okay?" She says with a worried look on her face and Valerie immediately nods with a small smile on her face. "Get ready to run." Dustin tells the two of them. Once free, Valerie grabbed Robin's wrist, running alongsides her as the taller girl leads the way.

Robin got Val into the back of the cart carefully as Dustin forced Steve into the back before he, Erica and Robin all got into the front with Robin driving. "Jesus, slow down." Steve groans, grabbing onto something for support. "Yeah, what is this, like, the Indy 500?" Val asked, looking at Robin through the fence separating the front and back of the cart.

"It's the Indy 300." Steve says to Val, correcting her. "No, Stevie, it's 500!" Valerie says to him with an annoyed look. "It's 300!" Steve raised his voice as well and Valerie glanced around. "Let's say a million." She says before the two of them just burst out into loud laughter.

"What is wrong with them?" Erica asked Dustin and Robin. "I don't know." Dustin says and Erica looks to the front. "Robin, watch out!" She says and the girl crashed into barrels by the elevator. "Ow! Ow! Ow!" Valerie says, her hand to the top of her head with a grimace.

"You guys alright back there?" Robin asked the two who just groan in response. "They're fine. Come on." Dustin says before they quickly go to the back and open it for Valerie and Steve. "Come on, we gotta go." Robin held out her hand for Valerie who takes it, jumping down and putting her arm around Robin's neck.

In the elevator, on the way up, Valerie and Steve were just messing around with a cart where Steve was standing, whooping. "Hey, I look like I'm surfing!" Steve looks at Valerie who laughs. "Yeah!" She says and he continues pretending to surf. "They seem drunk." Erica looks up at Robin. "Why would they be drunk?" The blonde girl simply says, crossing her arms.

"I'm a natural! Check it out!" Steve says and then he fell off. "Oh, my God, Stevie, you okay?" Valerie managed to ask between her laughter. Dustin kneels beside Steve, checking his forehead so Robin goes over to Val so she can do the same. The curly haired girl sits down as Robin raised her hand to Valerie's warm forehead. "He's burning up." Dustin says.

"So is she." Robin says and Valerie tilted her head to the side. "One sec, one sec. Steve, Steve." Dustin says, trying to pry open Steve's eye. "His pupils are super dilated." Dustin says, looking at Erica and Robin. Robin turns to Val beside her who smiled sweetly. Robin grabs each side of her face, leaning in closer as Val's heart begins to beat faster and she freezes on the spot. "So are Val's," Robin says, looking away. "Maybe they're drugged." Erica says.

"Boop!"

"Steve, are you drugged?"

"How many times, Dad? I don't do drugs. It's only marijuana." Steve says and Val begins giggling. "This isn't funny, okay? We need to know what they did to you guys." Robin says, looking at Valerie. "Are you gonna die on us?" Dustin asked Steve who just boops his nose again. "We all die, Dustin." Valerie says suddenly making him look over to her.

"It's just a matter of how... and when." She says and Robin looks at her with a strange look. Dustin simply ignores her, looking at Steve. "They're gonna be looking for us up there, so I need you to tell me where you parked your car." Dustin says and Robin looks at Val. "Or yours?" She says and Valerie begins patting her chest, her arms and her pockets.

"Oh, can we make a pit stop at the food court?"

"Oh, my God... hot dog on a stick." Valerie looked at Steve with wide eyes. "Ooh." Steve says. "Alright, yeah, food. Yes, you can have as much food as you want, but only if you tell me where your car is parked." Dustin says to Steve who looks up at him. "Uh-oh."

"Uh-oh?"

"Yeah, can't get the cars. They took my purse, everything in it included." Valerie groans, setting her chin onto her hand. "And my keys too." Steve turns his pockets inside out.

"That's a bummer, right?"

Once out of the elevator, Steve and Valerie sigh together, she's holding onto his arm with his, linked together. "Shit! Come on!" Dustin turns to them suddenly, Robin grabs Valerie and Dustin grabs Steve before running inside the mall. Valerie is unsure what they're running from but kept running with Robin anyway.

"Whoa!" Steve shouts as he's being dragged by Dustin and Val is being dragged by Robin. "Where are we going?!" Erica asked, running in between Dustin and Robin. "Just trust me!" The group all come to a stop, Dustin shushing them before he looks out the door.

"All clear." He says before walking in and the other four follow behind, Erica, Steve, Valerie and Robin at the end. "What did I tell you?! Eighty-eight miles per hour!" An old man with white hair shouts on screen.

"Here, sit with Val." Dustin points to the seats for Robin and Valerie to sit at. "And you, come sit over there with us." Dustin tells Steve, pulling Steve with him as Valerie holds out her hand. "Steve!" She whisper-yells. "Robin, I want popcorn." Valerie whispered, grabbing onto the blonde's hair. "I don't have money and we can't leave." Robin says and Valerie groans, watching the movie as he crosses his arms.
