"You can open your eyes now," Celeste decided. I slowly opened my eyes and a charming light caught my eyes.
A wonderful city appears underneath us. It was a medieval city but too modern at the same time. There were many houses and they all had crystal roofs. I scanned the empire. A huge bridge ran over a waterfall, perhaps several thousand feet deep and an extremely wide cliff where the water fell down. At the end of the bridge stood a huge castle. We flew over the castle and as I looked back I realized the whole city stood on an extraordinary lake. The whole lake was surrounded by mountains.
Imber slowly flew down and at the back of the castle you could see that the castle rested on the edge of the cliff. The edges of the castle were all made of crystal and supported the castle so it wouldn't fall. The whole castle had crystal pillars and every roof was made of crystal. It looked powerful.
"Did the castle never fall down the cliff?" I asked Celeste.
"It did fall down, I created a new castle with more defence and support. Now only specific people can enter the castle with their permission. Only people I trust have keys to enter it." Celeste answered as she pointed her hands at the shining shield around the castle. It wasn't really clear for eye vision but it had a shiny area where you could see it. A spot disappeared and we flew right through it. The shield closed itself and an extremely big door opened. Imber flew right through it.
It was a huge stable for flying creatures. There were many stables with lots of different creatures in it. There were multiple phoenix's and there were wyverns! Those are a specific species of dragons.
A pure white wyvern roared at us and clapped its wings when we landed on the ground.
"Calm down Arka he's a friend" Celeste yelled back with a smile. The wyvern calmed down and lied down in its stable. "We don't lock them in here, they can leave whenever they want and fly around the Empire. Inside their stable is a button they can push. We will get a message they left and a tracker will be placed on their back so we are sure where they are." Celeste explained.
I listened amazed while looking around. The whole stable was like a mansion. It was huge! Never seen such a big room.
"Follow me. Oh, and don't mind the people around the castle. They will be looking" Celeste added. I followed her through the stable.
"The wyvern who just caused a little comotion is Arka" She stated with laughter. "She's my best friend". Imber growled annoyed. "GIRL best friend okay?" Celeste said to Imber. I chuckled.
Celeste stopped at the end of the stable and gave Imber a small kiss on his head. Imber put his head on Celeste's head and pulled back after a second. He made a small screech and flew out of the stable.
"Bye Imber" I waved. Celeste laughed and went to the entrance. She opened the door and I followed her.
I still thought about what she said when we were flying behind the castle. Celeste said the castle ones fell in the cliff. I wanted to ask how but I wanted to keep that question for later.
We walked up a large staircase, it was really morden. We came to an immense hallway. Pillars made out of blue crystals and the roof were made out of white crystals.
"Can I ask what I am supposed to do here?" I asked confused but happy at the same time. "I'll explain to you in a better place", she answered with a grin.
She opened a big door and it looked like the main hall. It was a large round room with a large round table in the middle. There was a big hanging lamp made out of crystals, again. Damn they love crystals. I walked behind Celeste and looked around just being amazed about just all of this.
"If you wonder why there are so many crystals it's because they are almost unbreakable. When i made the castle and the city i tried to place as many crystals as i could around the buildings." She explained. She stopped and turned to me and held her right arm up in the air. Suddenly her arm creates a crystal shield. She held her arm in front of me and with her other hand she made a crystal knife. She tried to stab herself with the knife into the shield and they both didn't break.
She showed me a short smile and the crystals disappeared into her arms.
"One of my powers is that I can create anything with crystals. They are almost unbreakable." She confirmed.
"Why almost?" I asked with a curious look.
She looked down at the ground with a serious face. I saw anger and sadness in her face when she looked me in the eyes.
"Because of her," Celeste said.
