"If they don't listen, there is a good chance they won't survive your world"

*Zillah's POV*

How do I deserve freedom? I killed millions of people and destroyed tons of cities and villages. But Rowan doesn't know me, and it's better to keep it that way. He doesn't need to know the things I'm capable of, the monster I actually am.

No guard was seen and we finally came to the end of the small hallway. But I totally forgot Rowan was useless now. He's vulnerable and he has no elemental power. Now I have to do all the confrontations.

I slowly grabbed the door handle and pushed it down. Right after the door opened, the handle started turning black and smoke came out of it. It was totally burned, just by my hand.

Rowan his eyes widened a little but he shook his head and looked at the large room in front of us.

We were suddenly in an immense dome with no windows at all, totally cut off from the outside world. It had a large chandelier on the ceiling, shining a bright red light. There was a large round table in the center, just like in Arcelia's castle. There was a speaker in the corner of the room and there were a lot of bookcases. They were all labeled what they were about. 'The devil' stood by one of the cabinets. I walked towards it and grabbed a random book. As I opened the pages and stared at the tales about the devils destruction, that I'm pure evil. I'm gonna be honest, they are true. Tales about how the devil could destroy the human kind. Theories about the dark desires I crave for were written in these books.

Without noticing I felt Rowan's breath in my neck as he was reading with me. I instantly put the book back as it started burning. Annoying prick.

''Are you really able to destroy a whole species?'' Rowan asked kind of excitedly as I walked towards the table. ''Yes I am, it would be easy actually.'' I pushed a red button on the table as a 3D map appeared of a massive base. It was this base. Rowan quickly stepped towards me as the map appeared and every hallway and room was visible. We rapidly scanned the map and closed it. I remembered how to get out, now we just had to be careful with the guards.

I started walking towards the door on the other side of the room, going further into Ozai's lair. Rowan just followed me like he was some small human thing. What do you call it? A child or something? Those tiny annoying creatures? so..opposing.

''Did you notice there are no windows here?'' Rowan added to the silence of the dark room.

''Yes I noticed.'' I slowly opened the door as we stared at the long corridor with maybe a hundred doors on the sides. The door handle already started to melt as we stepped inside the room. As we walked the long corridor, a small screech was heard. Rowan immediately glared at me while I looked at every door, waiting for someone to open it so I could teleport behind them and cut their-

''That was a dragon,'' Rowan whispered as he walked forward, trying to remember where the sound came from. ''How do you know?'' I exclaimed quietly as he walked to one of the doors and laid his ear against it. He waited a few seconds and went to the next door. ''This could be the place they capture those dragons, right? Maybe we can take them with us.'' Rowan laid his ear to the next door and his eyes widened with a small grin on his face. ''There's one in here.'' He already opened the door without waiting for me. If he wanted to die that's fine by me. But I don't want Celeste to think I ate him. I don't wanna be stuck again for another 100 years, I won't be able to kill anyone. That would be devastating right?
