"You've got something they don't"

✦ ✧ ✦

*Zillah's POV*

I'm not afraid of anything, except myself. The Darkness within me scares me more than anything. I feel heavy all the time. Not because of the power I possess but the thought of feeling nothing. Alongside the pain going through my body constantly. I got different kinds of powers, but I manished to master them all. I have seen the blood of the ones I tried to protect. I fought in wars. I killed and saw death flashing before my eyes. But the only thing I can feel now is the pain. The stitches were the worst. I had no chance to heal because of the constant torture, my body can heal itself pretty rapidly but because of the knives and sticthes being ripped open and sewed back together, there is no chance of me healing myself.
The collar around my neck keeps my powers hidden inside me. It's blocking my abilities of bursting out of here and destroying everyone and everything here.

But that's when I heard the door open. I slowly looked up, trying to move as slowly as possible so the electrical shock wouldn't activate. Somehow this shock affects me, I still can't figure out how. Dakota walked in with two injections in her hand. One with black blood and another with red blood. Rowan was asleep on the ground. He probably fainted because of hunger. They didn't care about his health. He was like a doll with a specific ability they wanted.

Dakota walked over to me with a mean grin on her face. I wasn't able to talk with the metal mask around my mouth but if this wasn't around my head, I would bite her neck open and watch her bleed to death, it would be nice to watch.

''Don't try anything stupid, I can take you out easily.'' She stood behind me as I heard her chuckles. She suddenly took off the metal mask around my head and she instantly stepped away from me. Blood started to drip out of my mouth, but I was still able to taste the metal spikes. Yikes.
''You can talk with the boy if you want, maybe you'll have something to tell him? Let's see...how about truth or dare? But without the dares!?'' She started laughing as Rowan slowly opened his eyes and glared at Dakota's evil smile. Dakota looked at Rowan and chuckled. ''Go on Rowan! Ask Zillah anything you want to know!'' She started laughing again as Rowan looked at me.

''Did you hurt Arka?'' Rowan asked while he looked very serious. This Arka must be special to him or Celeste. I did not expect him to really ask something serious.
''I didn't, and I don't even know who the hell Arka is,'' I said as Rowan looked relieved and nodded. I came up with a question that would surely annoy Dakota.

''Rowan, are we going to escape?''

''Yes we are.'' Rowan smirked as I tried to smile but I just showed a small grin. I don't know how to smile, honestly.

''Haha very funny guys...very funny.'' Dakota clapped her hands as she glared annoyed at me and Rowan. ''Zillah, I have a question for you. Who were the first people you've killed?'' She showed her devilish smile and waited for my response. My eyes widened a little as I looked at Rowan with his curious gaze.

''Why should I tell you?''

''Because if you don't I will tell Rowan myself and explain how you did it!''

Shit.

''Well Rowan, you've already heard people say shit about what I've done, so this won't surprise you. I killed my parents.'' I looked at Rowan as his jaw dropped and eyes widened. I was expecting that, I'm not surprised. ''She killed them when she touched them. Their body turned black and they were throwing up the black substance you can manipulate right? Their bodies crumbled right in front of you. Am I right, Dragon?'' Rowan looked at me with wide eyes and his eyebrows frowning. His face looked like he wanted to yell WHAT!?
