At the Water Pillar Estate,
An exhausted Giyu had just returned from a particularly straining mission. Upon entering his room, he collapsed onto his bed that was littered with clothes.
The clothes, which were a different size than his, had been collected from the Butterfly Estate. The man had managed to snatch the clothes belonging to a certain h/c woman from the baskets of clothes needing to be washed.
There's nothing wrong with just borrowing clothes, he thought to himself.
Taking a large whiff of the clothes and smelling her familiar scent, all exhaustion was wiped away. The Water Pillar felt as if he was drowning in her presence and he couldn't be happier.
As he laid down, light-headed, he stared at his bedside table with a euphoric smile. With thoughts filled of only Y/N, he admired the array of trinkets he had collected. Each one had contained a part of her.
There was a hair stick she had used once and forgotten about, the chopsticks she had used at an udon shop, a handkerchief she used to wipe her sweat, and his favorite - a thin white face veil.
He found the face veil in her room yet he had never seen her wearing it. Thinking that she wouldn't notice it's absence, he pocketed it. It ended up being his favorite souvenir of hers. Sometimes, when he was feeling especially stressed, he would press his lips against the cloth, imagining her face on the other side of it.
Leaning over, he snatched the face veil from his bedside and brought it close to his face. He placed a light kiss on the fabric. Cuddling with her pile of clothes and her veil clutched between his fingers, he slowly fell asleep.
