Chapter 5

After Geovoni and I ordered food from the Jamaican restaurant, we ended up eating out in his car at this park.

"Mmm this oxtail is soo good" I moaned out.

" One of the best Jamaican restaurants in the whole of Atlanta." Geovoni talked while shoving the food in his mouth.

He eats like a pig

"I want to go to Jamaica someday and have a baecation but niggas ain't shit, right?" I shook my head and laughed.

"What about me?" he looked at me while sucking the bone of the oxtail.

"I don't know anything about you" I shrugged my shoulders. "But I'll give you a 7/10. You decent"

"Woow. Let's ask each other questions."

"Ok you go first" I pointed my head at him.

"So Aniyah, you got any brothers?"

"Nope" I answered.

"Good good" he smiled. "So if I was to take you on a date then there would be no problems."

"You getting a little too bold right now" I smiled

"Your turn" he motioned with his hand.

"So your ex...what's the deal between you two"

"Planning on shooting your shot?" he smirked.

I gave him an annoyed look and he laughed and put his hand in the air. "OK fine"

"We've been on and off since high school but now I guarantee we won't be getting back together. She's crazy"

"So there's a chance y'all would probably get back together" I narrowed my eyes at him

"Not this time" he shook his head. "You got any exes?" he asked and I nodded my head and held up two fingers.

"So no backstory" he asked, scrunching up his eyebrows.

"Nope" I lied. I'm not about to open up to a guy I just met.

"Ok" he nodded his head. "We should probably head back before they notice we're gone," he said, locking the empty box in his hand and tossing it in the back.

"Yeah" I agreed with him.

As soon as we got back to the building, there was a commotion outside the apartment room.

Kayla and Jay were in a full-blown fight but the guys were doing nothing to help them. They were quite entertained with the phones in their hands.

Kayla was practically naked in her bra and underwear getting dragged to the floor by Jay. At some point, Kayla's wig was snatched and thrown on the floor and she held the back of her head.

"BITCH GET YO GRIMY HANDS OFF ME"

"You talking shit but you ain't nothing but a weak ass bitch" Jay kept punching her.

"AYEEE CHILLOUT" Geovoni got into it and managed to pull Jay off Kayla.

Both of their nostrils were flaring and Kayla just got her stuff, flipped Jay off, and ran past me toward the elevator.

"COUNT YO MOTHERFUCKIN DAYS BITCH" Jay pushed passed the guys in the doorway to get back inside.

I followed her to find out what happened while I was gone. "Jay are you okay and where's Sean?"

"No, that bitch tried to get with my man" she shook her head.

"Where is he?"

"He now passed out drunk in his room."

"Why am I not surprised" I shook my head.

"I just know she gon' be top daily news whore at Morehouse by tomorrow" Jaylin smiled.

"She deserved it not gon' lie" I shrugged my shoulders.

"EVERYBODY OUT" Geovoni shouted and all the guys dapped each other up before they left out the door.

Once everybody was gone Geovoni shut the door and his attention was on us.

"Where's Shawn?" he asked and Jay pointed at the room.

He heavily sighed before going in there and a second later he came back out shaking his head. Jay and I gave one another a crazy look when Geovoni filled up a pot with water and brought it back into the room.

"WHAT THE FUCK" Sean yelled and we both ended up laughing.

Serves him right

I decided to stay the night at the apartment since Jay was staying the night and she was my only ride home besides Geovoni, but he had already done enough for me today.

"Do you mind?" I said, taking off my jeans shorts. You're one crazy girl to think sleeping in jeans is the move.

"Not like I haven't seen a girl naked before" Geovoni licked his lips while his eyes trailed up and down my body. He was sitting down on his bed watching TikTok.

I rolled my eyes and placed the shorts on the edge of the bed.

"So ain't you finna get off so I can sleep" I folded my across my chest.

"Watchu mean? Get ya ass here we finna cuddle" he smirked.

I walked up to the bed and slowly seductively crawled towards him never once losing eye contact with him. I tilt my head down and look up at him through my eyelashes. I looked down at his lips and back up to his eyes.

"Please" I bit my lip.

He tilts his head back on the headboard and lets out a small groan. "Lord have mercy"

"Thanks and shut the door behind you" I smiled and crawled under his sheets ready to sleep. He got off the bed and before he left the room he looked back at me.

"You playing a dangerous game, ma"
