Ace

I woke the next morning to find an arm wrapped around my waist, holding my back against a solid body. Carefully, I lifted his arm off me, noticing he'd grabbed out clothes from outside before going to sleep. I grabbed my underwear and Steele's dress shirt before slipping out if the tent and making my way to the pond where I jumped in, deciding to wash up a little bit after last night

"Having fun?" I heard Steele chuckle from behind me to see him standing on the bank in his boxers, holding my clothes in his hand

"I am, actually. The waters nice." I smiled, treading water over by the small waterfall

"So then I suppose you don't want to head back and eat, do you?" He commented, watching me

"I suppose I could eat." I grinned, swimming my way over to where he stood "help me out?" I asked, holding my hand out. Knowing I wouldn't have a hope in hell, I didn't Rey to pull him in, just let him pull me out of the water

"Toss these on, I'm gonna go grab my pants and take the tent down." He grinned, holding my clothes towards me

"Okay." I laughed, starting to dress.

We rode into the yard, my legs still bare, not that anyone could tell I wasn't wearing shorts

"Go wait in the truck, then I'll drive you back to your house so you can grab your clothes

"M'kay." I smiled, kissing his cheek before making my way over to the truck and climbing into the passenger seat to wait. Not much later, Steele hopped in, dressed like he usually was

"Let's go grab you some clothes." He smirked, pulling out of his driveway. We talked, filling the short drive to my house with mindless chatter, discussing livestock and grain prices for this year

"I'll be right back." I grinned, jogging into the house

"And where were you last night?" My dads voice asked from the kitchen

"With Steele?" I explained, though it sounded more like a question

"Why are you wearing his shirt?" He asked, his eyes burning into my own

"I didn't want to wear my dress again." I muttered, not mentioning the manner in which I'd taken it off last night

"Really? So what did you and Steele do last night?" He asked, glancing at the shirt before his eyes darted back to my face

"Talked then hit the sheets for the night." Half truth, we did talk, and we did go to bed, we just didn't get to sleep until much later

"Okay, well, I'm glad you had fun." He smiled, going back to reading the paper

"Me too." I smiled, starting up the stairs

"Oh, Ace?" He called before I'd even made it one step

"You might want to hide those hickeys, someone might think you were up to no good last night." I could hear the grin in his voice, and I knew he knew what had happened. Darting up the stairs to the mirror my mother insist hang there, I looked at my reflection; dark hickies up the sides of my neck, and a couple dissapearing under the shirt I wore

"Steele." I growled, before stalking into my room to change. After brushing my hair and teeth, I tossed on a pair of ripped jeans, a black tank top, and Filthy Ranch Hand cap

"Looking good, might want some cover up though." My dad smirked as he walked into my room and dropped himself on my bed

"Shut up." I joked, slathering some over the annoying marks "And he's going to get it as soon as I get back out to the truck." I muttered, checking to see if they were visible
