Months flew by, so quick it made my bead spin. Sarah and Luke had a little boy, Lexi broke up with Josh, and as a result, they refused to be partnered for the wedding; Josh is now Steele's best man. She broke up with him because she met a guy at the college she attended, a street artist named Kelsey
"Two days until you aren't Miss Jobins anymore...you'll be another Mrs Grahms." Lexi signed from the other side of the campfire in my back yard. Sarah decided from tonight, until the day of the wedding, the boys weren't allowed near my house; any of them
"I know, its weird." I chuckled, sipping my drink, one of the Jack Daniels coolers Lexi had brought with her "we're only 18." I added, thinking about the statistics I'd heard from numerous people, all saying the same things; people married before the age of 25 have a higher chance if divorcing withing the first year of their marriage
"You guys'll make it. I know you will." Sarah smiled over at me, baby Bryan in her arms
"Can I hold my god child?" I asked, pouting and holding out my arms
"Of course." Sarah cooed, kissing his cheek before handing him to me
"Who's a sweet heart?" I asked quietly, kissing his cheek before rocking him gently in my arms
"How's Kelsey?" Kira asked, her face scrunched in distaste
"He's amazing, I'm glad I met him." Lexo gushed, sounding like a lovesick 13 year old obsessing over some boy band
"That's great." Sarah muttered, looking at her fingers as she toyed with the ring she always wore
"Do you guys not like him, or something? Because you may as well wear your distaste as a mask!" Lexi snapped, setting her cooler down in the cup holder of her deck chair
"Its not that, its just....well, Josh is our friend too." I explained, watching as Bryan's tiny hand wrapped around my finger
"So what?" She asked, looking extremely pissed off
"So Sarah and I watched as he fell apart. You didn't even call, or say you weren't feeling the relationship anymore. You sent him a picture of you and Kelsey playing tonsil tennis!" I told her adjusting my god son on my lap
"I've been your friend since we were 4!" Lexi exclaimed, gesturing with her hands
"So?! That doesn't justify breaking up with someone like that!" Kira snarled, defending our friend
"You know what? Find a knew bridesmaid. Oh, and I was going to tell you guys I was moving in with Kelsey in Saskatoon! So goodbye." She snapped as she stood up and walked away
"I think we just lost one of our best friends..." Kira whispered, staring at the side of the house where Lexi had disappeared around
"That wasn't our Lexi, Kira, that was a new Lexi, one tweaked just the way Kelsey likes her. That's Kelsey's Lexi." Sarah muttered sadly, glancing at her
"I know." Kira mumbled. Our night went on, all of us pushing this new Lexi to the backs of our minds as we talked, listening to the fire crackle and baby Bryan gurggle and giggle.

The gazibo was set up beautifully; white lights strung around the pillars, white daisey's and sunflowers hanging on either side of the entry of the gazibo. Instead of chairs, Steele and I had opted for burlap covered bales. The isle was basically just two strings of lights, one on either side of the 4 ft wide isle, Sarah claimed that it would add to the effect if the evening ceremony
"It looks gorgeous..." I whispered to Sarah, my mother, Kira, and my cousin Jackie as we wandered around the area
"It'll look even better when you're walking down the isle this evening towards the love of your life." Jackie grinned, looking around with a small smile
"Yeah..." I whispered, my heart racing a little more at the thought of tonight. We had a large, walled tent were we'd be getting ready
"Let's go get ready." My mother smiled, wrapping her arm around my shoulder as they led me away from the beauty Sarah had helped me plan.
---------------------------------
I smiled as I looked at Sarah, Kira, and Jackie. Kira and Jackie were both wearing knee length, blood red dress, matching the color of my belt. Sarah stood in a floor length dress of the same color. All three had their hair curled, and their makeup relatively light, but it would look brilliant in the glow from the string lights tonight
"You guys look amazing." I smiled, hugging them all. I hadn't been allowed to look in a mirror yet, all though I'd been the first to be finished getting ready
"Steele's going to faint when he see's you." Jackie smirked as she looked over me
"Thanks. Now, everyone stand with me so we can uncover the mirror." I ushered, grabbing Sarah and Kiras arms as I drug them towards the large red sheet we'd thrown over the mirror
"Okay, one, two, three!" My mother exclaimed, ripping the sheet down
"Oh my god..." I trailed. My dark red hair was curled softly, half of it swept up into an updo, my bangs were straight and brushed off to the side. My eye makeup was on the darker side, my gray eyes bright, my lip stick a nude color, my cheeks a light pink. The dress hugged every curve from my chest to my hips before falling into a flare near the bottom, the red belt making my hair look darker than it usually was
"Hey, its 7:00, time to star-holy shit honey..." My dad froze just after entering the medium sized tent. He was wearing a pair of black jeans, a black shirt, a black sport coat, and his ever present hat
"Hey daddy." I smiled, walking over to him and hugging him tightly
"My baby girls all grown up." He whispered, his eyes filling with tears
"I'm always going to be your little girl." I smiled up at him, reaching up and wiping the tear from his cheek
"I know." He muttered, smiling at me "Kelly, you guys done?" He asked, trying to regain his composure
"Almost." My mother smiled "something old," she grinned, handing me a lace garter that had recently had a dark red ribbon added "something new," she continued, clasping an antler necklace around my neck
"Something borrowed," Gladys smiled, entering the tent and handing me an antique bracelet "some blue." She finished, clipping a small blue bobby pin into my hair where hardly anyone could see it
"Now we're ready." My mother smiled, hugging me before stepping back so Gladys could hug me
"We'll see you outside." She muttered in my ear before following my mother outside
"Jackie, you're walking with my boyfriend. Make a move and I'll cut you." Sarah smiled sweetly
"Don't worry, if anyone's got to worry about me making a move on their other half its your boyfriend." Jackie revealed, smiling slyly, eyeing her before looking away
"Kira, you're up." My dad told her, and we watched as she walked out, linking arms with River before they walked away
"Jackie." He continued after a couple seconds
"Sarah." He finished, watching as she walked away with Josh
"We're up." My dad smiled at me, holding his arm out towards me and leading me from the tent. There was a 20 foot walk from the tent to the small willow stand between us and the ceremony. As we stepped through the willows, Steele's hand covered his mouth. He and his groomsmen were all dressed the same, black jeans, black shirts, and black sport coats; their dusty boots the only give away that they weren't the classy cowboys some models pretended to be. The glow from the lights on the gazibo and on either side of the isle making everything glow in the soft light. We finally got to the alter, and my father stopped about a foot or two from Steele
"I love you, you'll always be my baby girl." He whispered, missing my cheek before handing me off to Steele, who smiled at me
"Gorgeous..." He muttered, his eyes flicking over my face, eyes shining brightly. Before I could reply, the priest started.
-----------------------------
"You may now kiss the bride." The priest announced, stepping back as Steele pulled me towards him, slamming his lips to my own
"I've wanted to do that since you first walked through those trees." He muttered against my lips
"Ditto." I grinned, kissing him again before stepping back. Everyone we'd invited standing from their chairs and cheering and whistling. Sarah smiled at me as we signed the marriage certificate while our parents led everyone across the bridge over the creek, and through the willow on the other side to the small field the reception was being held in
"Well, you're officially my wife." Steele smirked, pulling me against his side as we walked a few feet behind Josh and Sarah
"Mhm." I smiled, snuggling against him
"Introducing the new Mr and Mrs Grahms!" Josh yelled as he and Sarah walked through the willows ahead of us. There were a few tables set up around the clearing, a man cooking burgers and steaks on a barbeque set up beside a table filled with salads and an insulated cooler filled with baked potatoes, dressings on the far end of the table. In the middle of the tables was a large, ply wood dance floor, a DJ off to the side in the back of the truck
"This looks amazing..." Steele trailed, smiling down at Sarah, who'd set all this up for us with the help of the boys
"Thanks." she smiled, hugging us both "I love you both." She added, hugging us tightly before leading us to the food tables, then to the bridal party table where everyone was waiting
"Its weird, you two being married. A year and a half ago Steele was stalking you while you were basically unaware of his exsistance." Luke grinned, kissing Sarah as she walked past him to sit beside me
"Oh believe me, I knew he exsisted." I laughed as we started eating. Instead of having people clinking their glasses, clapping, or banging on tables, we'd set a cowbell on each table, the words 'ring for a kiss' scrolled on them; they'd been ringing all evening.
Finally it was time to cut the cake. Steele stood behind me, his arms around me as we held the knife, slicing it through the cake and onto two plates. I picked one up, glancing at Steele before pushing it into his face. His jaw dropped open and he stumbled back, Josh reaching out to stop him from falling. Everyone started laughing, even Steele as wiped the cake off his face and walked towards me
"God I love you." He laughed, wiping some cake onto my nose
"I love you too." I chuckled, leaning up and kissing him.
